Alltown mobile on route one Saugus Massachusetts is an all right place. I like the fact that it's…read moreopen 24 hours a day and they have an extensive convenient store including lottery. The gasoline prices are fair Westin in Boston but more than the surrounding cities but they are open 24 hours a day so at midnight or two in the morning you pay an extra dime Per gallon that's a great deal. The location is extremely lit up at night time which makes it nice and safe. I Give the Saugus Alltown a Solid 4 Stars.

I bought gasoline and played lottery on Saturday 5/23/26 at about 9 am…read more After my gasoline purchase at the pump, I went inside for lottery play. The gentleman in front of me I have seen before at gas stations and he is a policeman who is passively and coyly annoying. He was at the lottery attendant before me , so his play is first. He had a plastic container with many betting slips. I figured I'd be waiting awhile; however, he drew only one slip from the attendant. It was either a game purchase or result slip of the numbers drawn for Friday night results. I was not close enough to see and I wasn't paying much attention because at the time I thought it was none of my business??? Yet was it. I'll return to that man's motivation after I explain the comments of the loudmouth annoying policeman behind me. That fellow was shouting to the attendant that there is a sign at the pump for a ten cents discount for paying cash as opposed to credit card payment. The attendant told him there was no a sign for any discount;therefore, the attendant was a participant in the ruse. I saw the loud fellow at at a very crowded wholesale store. I parked in a handicapped space and proceeded to the entrance. The rude fellow shouted at me " next time you wait". He was under some allusion that I had taken " his " space. My reply only made him more angry. I have no fear of police officers who have bad intentions towards me. During those encounters ( there have been more than a few) I look straight at them. Usually they are aggressive and trying to promote a physical encounter. I am 79 years old and have had 14 surgeries. That explains the " bravery " of some police officers I have met. I have metal and plastic in my knees and hips. It is painful to stand pay and pump gasoline. On more than one occasion I've had pumps work slowly while I stand uncomfortably one time I looked back to the car behind me and I'm staring at a fellow I'd never want to view. Was the pump slowed up intentionally. Why did the policeman at Alltown go the the counter with many betting slips yet only get a printout or a single game purchase. As I walked in there was a 1963 ? Ford Galaxie with police markings. It was in great condition. Was the owner simply an enthusiast? Or was the vehicle being used as an emotional prop? To return to the intentions of the darker skin quiet fellow . At a route one north gasoline station he was standing close to to the cashier; usually a pleasant African American gentleman. I paid for a lottery ticket and told him to have a nice day. In the presence of the coy policeman from Alltown as well. The attendant oddly told me he wanted to " hang out" with me. I told him if my number pops I'd be back with an envelope for him, but he'd be finding his own way. Given the habits of that furtive policemen, very close to the lottery machine, it's a safe bet that that encounter was planned and staged. The odds are very high that the intent in that encounter was perhaps to raise anger . Why would a young male of a different race , background, and physical capability want a friendship with a guy like me. Especially in front of a sly police officer with not the best intentions. Years ago I had more than a few African American good friends. Unfortunately they are no longer with us. Returning again to Alltown . On another day maybe last year a poser policeman I know very well now approached me after buying gasoline. He amends his appearance and is very good at it. He actually fooled me. He posed a a tree stump remover. But said he had retired ( retired and still working?) I was polite to him. At the time I thought he was just a confused individual. He is the one to who is most clever. Oddly that fellow should try to take care of himself and develop more healthy diet habits. Every time I have an unwanted encounter with him, he has taken on characteristics of the Plant Kingdom . He is growing from his extremities. I do not make this comment to ridicule a fellow, but body weight is very important That man should change his eating habits. He has I'll will to me I have none for him. I just don't want to see him again. I have a sensory issue which in a policeman's mind is construed as a probable cause for the above nonsense; successful surgeries and accessibility to the best drugs for the condition wipes out this probable cause. Also I am not that famous golfer who drives about at excessive speeds with controlled substances. At bedtime I get so little medicine, my doctor told me not to worry about an OUI. That will not happen. On this Menorial Day weekend, all of our policeman and firemen are all heroes and veterans. No matter what, if I was in a terrible situation, they would do their best to safe my life Blessings to all of our veterans with good will to police and fire. James Dennehy
