They are in the process of modernizing the reservation and data entry systems as I write. They inherited a system that use paper and pencil to record purchases and a land line for reservations. The pool was not open as they are involved in intensive repairs. But the lake is right there to be enjoyed. Rental prices for canoes, pontoons, and paddle boats are reasonable. There is a boat slip also and lots of dock space. The store is extremely well stocked and prices are competitive. We had a hot dog roast... they had the buns and marshmallows that we forgot. The playground was better than most parks. Bathroom and shower clean and lots of warm water. My pup loved the dog wooded dog run. There is a dog wash station (warm water) that we used as our dog needed it after a romp in the beach The customer service was always with a smile and a thank you. We were not expecting such a great place or such wonderful people. Plan to be back next summer

Our last visit kids came back upset after getting yelled at on scooters, more aggressively than needed for sure! No slap on the wrist just a write up on our account. Flagged forever? Also had some BS write up on renting the pontoon, which we are experienced boaters, years later, we can't rent there from one incident of sitting on the edge of the boat? I assure you no crazy violations made of any kind. I would seriously consider another campground. Plenty of nice places so we will skip right over this place now.

Our view was beautiful as we were right in front of the lake. They have rentals for boating and other activities available, as well as a list on their website around what to bring. I didn't interact with the owners themselves since we came in after the office closed, but getting the key and returning it was super easy. The beds are standard full and each room has an air conditioner in it for those sweaty nights. If you have more than 4 staying the couch is a futon! I really liked this spot and would consider it again. All of the sites are close together so you don't get the 'alone in the woods' feeling but it's still quiet enough where that's okay.

There is a nice lake at the park for electric motor and they rent out boats, kayaks and paddle boards. That lake is very small but quiet and pretty. The campsite had a host and they sure did a nice job welcoming us and then came to our aid when we had a bit of a yellow jacket issue. They brought spray and a fly swatter and together they took care of it for us. They were so very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and the campground was very quiet. The only thing I was disappointed to see so many campers with their giant LED porch lights on all night. I wish the campgrounds would put a limit on that. It's hard to view the night sky with light pollution and it's disappointing when you want to really see nature in it's natural light. It would of been a gorgeous night sky. I think people forget to connect with nature. It is a very nice park though - had a good time.
