The daytime temperatures were always below zero with a negative windchill. The Arbor Care Tree Service crew worked hard and removed all four trees and trimmed the other two. The removed all limbs and cleaned up the area in the bitter cold. The quality of work was great and the cost was within my budget, Very pleased.

We were looking for a fence that was approximately 190 Linear ft. We contacted Mr. Scagnoli on March 7th to get an initial quote on installing a Black Vinyl chain-link fence on a house that we had JUST purchased and had not yet moved into. We did this because we wanted to have a fence installed in a decent time frame, and we have been fully aware of how hard it is to get contractors currently, and how far they are booked out. We received our quote on March 12th at 10:20 am. I immediately contacted him and told him I'd like to get him booked for an install. Mr. Scagnoli told us that he would be able to get us booked for the end of March. This was perfect for us, as we would have just finished our move. The end of March came, and I never heard from Mr. Scagnoli. Now being aware of the current state of busy contractors I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and gave him a ring. I was able to get into contact with him, and he assured me that he was very sorry and that he still had me on the schedule. Mr. Scagnoli informed me that the weather was not holding out, and that we were temporarily pushed back due to this. This was understandable. Mr. Scagnoli told me that we would be the end of April before he'd make it out. I was ok with this, and proceeded to wait until the end of April. The end of April came, and we were about 1 week out from the close of the month. I never heard from him, so I called him. I assumed at this point he would want to at least come measure, and see the property, so I mentioned this to him when I called. He agreed he would need to do that, but that we had been pushed back a little further again due to weather. I asked him when he was thinking, and he again told me it would be the end of May. Now this was a little frustrating, but we understood and decided to wait. The end of May came, and much like the end of April, I called him around 1 week before the close of the month. Mr. Scagnoli informed me that he had a 3 month schedule, and that he was trying to fit us in. I informed him that I needed some sort of idea of when this would be, as we were going on Vacation in June. After talking on the phone for about 15 minutes he informed me that it would be the end of June before he was able to make it out, but he would give me a call back the first week of June to nail down details. We are at the end of the first week of June now, and I've received no such phone call. Mr. Scagnoli came highly recommended from other fence installers in the area. We are now 1 week into June, I've not heard from him, AND all other fence installers are about 4 months out. This is extremely irritating because now, my family of 4 children and a dog will most likely be waiting until next year to have a fenced in back yard. Had we been properly informed by this man in the beginning... we would have made backup plans just incase. I'm highly recommending anyone that books through Mr. Scagnoli make backup plans because if your experience with him is anything like mine, you will not have a fence installed in a timely manner. What I can say about Mr. Scagnoli is that he always remained professional and business like over the phone. I never once had a negative interaction with him over the phone, however this gentleman has affected our ability to have an installer come out in a timely manor. I'm highly unsatisfied with the fact that I've now called this man 8 times in roughly 3 months, and have never gotten what I was promised with each phone call.

These trees are literally just feet away from the house. On the opposite site side of the trees are power lines that divide the North boundary of the City of Marion and Grant County. So this is a very tight area and not a whole lot of room from error. The trees are 60-70 ft tall and do provide shade. So my wife and I did not want to lose them entirely. I must say Jeremy Riddle and his team performed my wishes remarkably well! They know how to do this work and do it with care and impressively !! For the work Jeremy and his team performed, it was well worth the value !! I would give Jeremy 10 stars out 5, if I could. Kudos to Jeremy and his team !! My husband called Ideal to see if someone could come out to take measurements and give us an estimate. The business owner came out the same day. He arrived earlier than he had promised, and emailed us a typed detailed estimate (itemized down to the number of posts, gate hinges, latches, labor, etc.). Even better, they accept credit cards and payment occurs after the entire job is complete. We had multiple quotes for the job, but decided on Ideal due to their professionalism, promptness, recommendations from friends, and pricing. The work they've done around town looks great, too! We decided on a 6' cedar privacy fence with treated posts. As for the install, Ideal set up all of the locate services for the utilities the day before they were going to arrive. They showed up early and set posts the first day. On Day 2, they finished setting the rest of the posts and started framing. Day 3 was more framing and pickets, and Day 4 was the rest of the pickets and gate construction, finishing work, and clean up. We had about 400 linear feet of fencing, so this was a large project. During the installation: the crew was incredibly detail-oriented, professional (wore company shirts), organized, and respectful. The area that they were working was always tidy and clean. I was happily surprised to see that the business owner was there every day! He made sure everything looked perfect. After the job was complete, the owner came back to walk through & make sure we were happy with the completed fence. We paid the exact amount that was estimated and the job was completed on schedule. I'm a very happy customer!

On the day of the job, he called to let us know they were on the way and arrived on time. Adam had the right equipment and the crew did an outstanding job taking the trees down without damaging any of the surrounding landscape. Once the trees were down, they hand raked the entire area to remove all leaves and debris. They spend a huge amount of time grinding the stumps to ensure the stump and elevated roots were all removed. I can't say enough good things about this company. Very professional, on time, excellent quality of work, and a very fair price. I would highly recommend Vivid for any tree work you need to have done.
