My fiancé contacted her to set up a surprise photoshoot and capture our proposal. He found her through Google and saw some photos of past shoots that were captivating and beautiful. She was very communicative throughout the booking process and gave great recommendations for picturesque spots in Stowe, VT as well as things to do/places to eat as we are not VT natives. They set up a plan for where he would get down on one knee and when she should pop out to take the photos. When he proposed and I said yes, it was the happiest I had ever been, and the photos she captured absolutely showed that! She seemed to make use glow and look so warm and happy, even though it was snowing!! She was an absolutely trooper, taking multiple photos while it snowed and the wind howled. She made us feel so comfortable and let us even have a moment to ourselves to take the moment in and hold each other (which she also captured!) At the end of the shoot she even checked to see if there were any photos we wanted to grab before saying our goodbyes, so if you have any pose in mind, she would definitely capture it! She told us it might be a few weeks before we saw any pictures but the next day she was able to give us a sneak peek at a couple and we were blown away! We had a great selection of images and a variety of options to choose from. I felt like I was in the moment all over again. Before the end of the week we received our pictures and we couldn't be happier! I couldn't wait to share with everyone just how beautiful they came out. From the start of our communications to the delivery of our gallery we couldn't be more pleased with her work! Throughout the wedding planning process, she could not have been more helpful, or made us feel more assured or excited about our wedding day. Any challenge we encountered in the process (none with her), she helped us sort out instantly, and her creativity knows no bounds. She is always fair and client-centered in her decision making, never pushy, and always personable. And her attention to details is astounding; for instance, when we first met and were talking flowers, I told her casually that I wanted to get tulips for the ceremony to honor a loved one who had passed. Months later, unprompted, she told me that she saw tulips at the grocery store during the month we were going to be married, to let me know they were seasonal. Planning a wedding is tough, but not when you have Jordan on your team; I can't stress enough how important having such an experienced venue owner/wedding coordinator all rolled into one has been for us, because unexpected things (COVID!), do happen along the way. She also knows everyone in the biz, and will give you the honest inside scoop. I can only imagine how lively and fun it must be in the summer! In the winter, it's a tranquil place for walking. You can find the entrance to the Winooski River Walk at the back of the community space. It's brief -- at least what I could walk of it in winter -- but beautiful, winding along the river, across a wooden bridge, and then up a steep incline to an overlook where there is a view of the Winooski One Hydroelectric Dam. I found the dam half frozen on the day I went, but still roaring on. Spectacular! (If only my extremely amateur photography skills were up to the job of capturing the view.)
