Additionally, The Little School at The Savannah Country Day School is a Quality Awarded and Rated childcare for 6 weeks old babies to four year old preschool children. SCDS was founded in 1955 when The Pape School, founded in 1905, became The Savannah Country Day School. I am the parent of three SCDS alumnae: Class of 2006, Class of 2009, Class of 2012. I am greatly appreciative of the challenging and rigorous academic education they received, and the wonderful relationships that educators, coaches and administrators fostered with my children to help them achieve their full potential. The SCDS well-rounded experience my children received in the arts, athletics, academics, service clubs and student government have contributed in molding my children into the productive adults they are today. After finally getting paperwork done and a start date things took a horrible turn. To begin, there was NO COMMUNICATION that they didn't have all of the paperwork needed before his start date. I arrived promptly at the facility just to wait outside for 30 minutes before even being let inside. Waited an additional 20 minutes while they tried contacting the director because my son wasn't listed on their roster. Was finally told that some information needed wasn't in their system and they would need that information from the agency and I couldn't provide them with anything. The fact that my son wasn't listed on the roster to start on the expected date means that SOMEONE knew he couldn't start, right? That wasn't communicated to me. The director seems to be absent, she's never onsite. After the paperwork issue was resolved, my son attended his first day BUT I wasn't setup to make a payment. Again, the director is still not present and I was told she would need to be the one to fix that and wouldn't be in until Friday! This is AFTER speaking and determining a new start date. I waited AGAIN for 20 minutes OUTSIDE of the facility to be let in. I called a few times throughout the day to check on my son because he was crying when I left and I know how he is so I wanted to see if he calmed down at any point. No one answers the phone. It is week 2 since he attended ONE DAY last week. I've sent emails about payment, I've sent an email about receiving a code to get in, I sent an email about the apps we're supposed to sign up for and I've received NO RESPONSE! This is the ABSOLUTE WORSE DAYCARE EVER!!!!!!!!!!! This particular location should be SHUT DOWN! I've never been so frustrated with a business. I'd trust Walmart with my child before I go back there. He hasn't attended since that one day, and he won't be going back there.
