POSITIVELY THRILLED WITH MY RESULTS! After much deliberation, I decided that it was time to have my 12 year old saline implants removed. I was concerned about post-explant ( and age-related sagging ), so I elected to have a breast lift at the same time. I researched plastic surgeons in my area using Google and realself.com and found excellent reviews for Dr. Curtsinger. From my initial consultation, to the pre-surgery visit, to the day of surgery, Dr. Curtsinger's calm, kind demeanor put me at ease. Warning. I have just survived the worst 4 months of my life at the hands of this place. After discussing injectables and how they react to my small face, they ignored me and destroyed my looks for months. I had to hide out until it wore off because I looked completely distorted, could not drive, could not put on eye makeup, could not read or see anything normally. I was embarrassed, looked horrific and lost money because I could not do my job without proper vision. The reviews have to be totally fake. This was a terrible, terrible experience and if I could have sued them I would have because they stole months of my life and income. I am left filled with anger towards this group. read more

This review is for their Skin 'Institute' co-partner or subsidiary, which is located in the same private building as the SPS, as it doesn't have a separate Yelp identity. The review is short as it only pertains to a Botox treatment, and sadly I have to let others know that it was a waste of money and time. I've had a forehead botox treatment done elsewhere (in Budapest), two years earlier, which had produced excellent (even surprising) results. Thus, I was certainly expecting something reasonably close to those results, from this visit, which in fact turned into two visits (the latter of which should not have been necessary). However, even with taking the time to return for another ("touch up") treatment, the effects were minimal (if at all). They could have been injecting water, for all I know. read more

Dr. Curtsinger and his staff are so professional and amazing! I had a tummy tuck w/ Lipo and a breast lift. I was so pleased with the staff on the day of my surgery. They treated me like a queen! After my surgery, my treatment remained the exact same. The nurses checked on me numerous times throughout the afternoon, evening, and early morning before my departure to make sure I was okay. Doing this because it needs to be done. A patient is too nice to do it on her own, but she is hurting from the low self-esteem that she spoke to one doctor about and he acted as if he understood her needs and was going to take care of them. She went to a surgeon before Dr. McLeod, but she says he was to pushy and wanted to do more than what she was ready to do. She worked hard to get where she was at and it took her 5 plus years to save working 2-3 jobs. She never spends money on herself so to do this was a big thing for her. She thought her and the doctor was on the same page about what she wanted done. She explained her problems and what she deals with daily. He grabbed the problem area lifted it up as if it was going to be fixed with the rest of the procedure. If she had known it was another procedure, and the doctor would have explained it instead of given false hope that it would be fixed she would have paid the extra so it could be at the same time. However, I do not think it would have made much of a difference since only one thing was fine but in time it will not last since she still can't wear a regular supportive bra. She had a breast lift and arm lift. She is the sweetest person and does not want to talk bad about others especially those in healthcare, but She keep telling the doctor she is not happy with her arms. She has had many people tell her that her arms look as they did before but with a large scar, she is ok with the scar. She calls it her warrior mark. The doctor tried to escape the room once and from what she said he could not find the knob to the door fast enough. He did do a great job on her breast, but it will not matter in a few years due to her not being able to wear a regular bra with good support. She thought and was told by other that had the arm lift the side fat would be taken care of and this is what the doctor lifted up when they spoke on as if he was going to take care of it. Well, he did not. She was to Consult with Dr. Pearl but when she called, he was no longer with the group, and they told her that Dr. McLeod is the next best. Some doctors are better at things and from what i get he specializes in migraines so he might need to stay with that. With that being said He had not tried to make this right by offering to fix the arms he just kept telling her they look great, and he would not do them if she came in his office today. Which is a lie cause two other surgeons said there is so much more to be taken off, but the sad part is it will cost her $9000-$14000 to have one of them do it when she just pain someone to do it. The other surgeons told her to go back and say she would like them fixed but she already knows what his answer will be. He did tell her at the last checkup he would have his nurse send a quote for the side fat to be done but she yet to have gotten that. This lady is a very happy, cheerful, always smiling person and this one thing has really gotten her down. She still hides her arms. She has turned being in Weddings because of the dresses. She will cry and say she should not have spent that money on herself she could have put it away for her grandkids or kids. It's been since September 2021, and she is not her. read more

I had a liposuction done over a year ago by Dr Pettigrew who by the way had fantastic bedside manners but things did not go well as I had anticipated. I have 2 large areas of fat attached to my upper and lower abdominal area that protrudes. He instructed me to check with my PCP for possible hernia (which was not the case) I spend thousands of dollars to have this surgery done but now my tummy is worse that the initial visit. To date, my stomach is lumpy and unattractive. Maybe I am imagining things, but I think the areas actually pulsate at times which becomes painful. I visited him twice after my surgery only to be told that maybe its an hernia or I should follow up with my doctor or consider a tummy tuck.. No one has ever reached out to me for over a year to ask if the problem was ever resolved. read more

Not that I experienced better, because I've only experienced one Dr. there. I got liposuction and fat was missed. The Dr. won't admit there was fat left behind. After healing, I pointed out the back fat left, and the ring of fat around my upper abdominal area that was protruding, he started giving me shots that were suppose to smooth things out, which weren't working, but at every visit he kept insisting the shots were working great. They weren't. My upper abdominal area looks deformed. Next, he started talking about a tummy tuck and moving things about etc. Thousands more $$. However, for several years prior, he told me I didn't need a tummy tuck. I would've spent the money and gotten a tummy tuck if he hadn't already convinced me I didn't need a tummy tuck. Maybe this way he could get $$ for the lipo, then more $$ for a tummy tuck later. I think tummy tucks include lipo, Not sure why he continues cheer-leading about the great job he did, rather than admitting spots were missed, and correcting the situation. I've had another procedure done with him and it was fine, but this denial on his part is very disheartening, and is going to cost me a lot to get corrected. Update: my friend went to same Dr. Same fat left across the top of her stomach. I warned her. read more

I recently started seeing Dr. Mcleod for Botox treatments, I could not say enough great things about this experience! I was nervous about feeling pressured, but that was the complete opposite of how I felt leaving the office. Dr. Mcleod sat down and discussed everything with me, answered all questions/concerns and I left the office educated about the treatment I received. Dr. Mcleod was one of the most professional, educated doctors that I have had the pleasure of going to. I was comfortable with the process and felt like a human, not just another patient that he was getting money from. I am so honored to say that Dr. Curtsinger did my breast reduction/lift. He also did my moms (reduction/lift) and my sisters(augmentation) breast's. I have never met a doctor so passionate about their job and care so much about his patients. He has such a great personality and truely wants to help and make sure your recovery goes as planned. I am 2 months post-op and I couldn't be happier. He is there every appointment and explains anything I don't understand and never rushes me. I was impressed with Dr. Carl Pearl's pics and decided to go with this practice for a face lift. The MD is young enough to be up on the latest techniques such as glue vs. drains that maximize patient comfort. I went in and saw Dr. Vann about a Brazilian butt lift. He informed me he could give me the shape change I was looking for. I have an open mind so looking perfect was not realistic, but never the less I expected to see an enhanced butt. After arriving home, I looked in the mirror and saw the same butt I had before I left my house. He lipo suction several areas on my back and abdomen, so why my results are so poor I really don't know. After several calls to them about my concerns, they told me to come in 2 days later. I went only to be totally blown off by Dr. Vann. He had no compassion what so ever and stated "well I used all the fat I could get." Being a trained physician I believe he knew this was going to be my result, but opted not to give me the facts. I look like I have a square butt with a rounded top. This was a total rip off of money I worked hard and sacrificed for. He may know lipo but he needs not offer butt lifts ever again! The nursing staff was great. read more
