We were the first people there, but when we walked in our server looked at us and didn't even greet us. She was rude when talking to us and never came back to check on us until we got our food. And then asked if we needed anything else when we didn't have any chips and needed refills. food was good and hot so the chefs are not a problem. Bad service will not get you customers read more

I've eaten at Savannah's multiple times. Their food is great along with their service. The restaurant itself is a normal West Texas Home style business. Not fancy but clean. Only negative would be their turnover of kitchen staff. Sometimes the menu items aren't consistent from previous week. Not bad but not as good as it could be. Overall I'd suggest eating there. Recently ordered the Beef Fajita Quesadilla...If you go to a Tex-Mex place, the one safe thing you should be able to order without fear is Fajitas. They are typically the same everywhere. With very few options in Brownfield, we went to Savannah's Mexican Food. We were very surprised because the Mexican food was very good. Hands down the worst dining experience ever. EVERYTHING was bad..cleanliness, service, food, all just awful. We arrived a good 30-40 min before closing time, it took a good 10 min for anyone to take our order. Refried beans weren't even close to being cooked, they were completely inedible, there is no way they didn't know this but thought it was fine to put them on diners plates and even let me order a bean tostado which I couldn't eat. Our son received his combination plate a good 10 minutes after we were finished with our meals. He ordered the exact same thing as my husband so this made no sense at all. We all had iced tea, ONE glass each, never offered us a refill until they were bringing out my son's food which by this time his glass was empty of even his ice but then we were told they had already dumped the tea for the night. He ate his meal with an empty glass, seriously?!? Our entire meal should have been comp'd but I could tell we weren't dealing with a group of people who cared so of course I didn't ask. Paid our $27 and got the hell out of there. Next time we are starving and in Brownfield we will be grabbing an Allsup's burrito instead. read more
