I'm a huge fan of their charcoal activated damp rid type product and like to keep several in my camper at all times. While camping in the area we stumbled upon this store and I was pleased they had them in stock. Dollar Trees for the most part are no thrill stores, and usually crowded. To my surprise this one wasn't busy, but was loaded with displays in the isles which made it difficult to social distance at the register. Also disappointing was the lack of cart wipes, hand sanitizer, and the required use of the attached pen at the credit card terminal during the pandemic. Fortunately I travel with my own since I'm high risk but it would be nice if Dollar Tree adapted the same sanitation practices as other stores.

However, I am very unhappy as being somebody who has worked in retail for over 20 years the past three times I've been there I have walked through the door and the store was not busy keep in mind there was nobody but two more customers in there besides myself and nobody could get off their phone or get away from the herd of Gossip going on and greeted me, nobody has asked if I needed help or offered to help me. As a retail worker of so long that is parsmount keeping your sales up regardless if you're meeting your sales goal or not. Let's start with the produce section…read more Always watch the fruits and vegetables you purchase at this location because they usually are rotten to the point mold is growing on them. Informed associates many times and it never gets handled. Typically they don't bother to rotate or dispose things. Next is the bakery. Flies are always swarming in the doughnut case. the doughnuts often are stale and taste like cigarettes. Items that should be refrigerated are not and spoil. Next is the deli and fresh food case. They leave food in the cold cases for days it seems. Subs and wraps are slimy. Expired food never disposed off and often left there. Hot food case is no better. Food left there for hours after the allotted time. Food is often dried out or outright disgusting. The bathrooms for customers are mostly dirty and rarely get cleaned. When they do clean they soak them with water and don't bother drying them out. Frozen section is next and you guessed it... another nightmare. They bring carts full of frozen items and dairy items and they just sit there. No rush to get the products into refrigeration or freezers. Often employees will leave carts and go chit chat with other staff. So buy at your own discretion. Last is the women who often stands at the self check out. She finds pleasure in belittling people , inserting herself when she is told no help is needed. She licks her fingers and touchs the bags... and touches people children without permission... somehow she still has a job.... shocking. Best advice if you can shop elsewhere. Mill hall or jersey shore weis is by far 1000x better in everything. This place is only conveniently supermarket besides save a lots so up charging is apparent.

Just think of an Ollie's with cleaner locations and slightly more expensive merchandise. Muncy's store is located in a former Supermarket outside of the Lycoming Mall. The store is clean and well organized with a better stock of products (especially food) compared to the Bloomsburg location. Where this store suffers is the lack of space, as the former supermarket is smaller then other stores. The food isles are only one person wide, so if you are larger like me, it makes maneuvering hard. The checkout area is also tight and customers who look like they are in line might just be shopping. Overall the store is nice, just crowded.
