I stop in weekly as it's very convenient for me however the cashiers are not very friendly except the bakery and deli. The store is well stocked with the exception of meat sales where occasionally they will sell out. The guy in the meat department will gladly offer a raincheck. The deli area offers fresh sushi, hot bbq chicken, potato wedges and dips like seafood, spinach and Mexican. The post office is handy for people who live in the area. You can pick up and send parcels and has all your mailing needs like envelopes and stamps. The bakery accepts special orders so talk to the manager or one of the staff and they will happy to help. I ordered a vanilla cake with raspberry filling and a ombré rose design and it was very pretty and delicious. The cake was moist and had enough filling you can actually take raspberry! Would definitely order again for a special occasion.

They're always helpful, always ask if I found everything and if not, someone will go get it! When i was paying for my groceries yesterday I was asked for my Save on Card but didn't have the keychain with the card on it. The ladies at the till said thats unfortunate, we think you could save a few $$. Before I knew it one of them was searching around the tills for another customers card I could use. Swiped that card and they saved me $15.00!!! just by going the extra mile. I've been loosey goosey about where I buy my groceries but time and time again I leave Save on and think...why don't I always shop here??? I actually LIKE grocery shopping there:) I'm making it my regular go to place from now on!

But No Frills had stock in sale items I wanted to purchase and I didn't find it dirty. The produce section had a great variety as good prices. I bought a huge tub of blueberries for $4! Some of the fruit didn't seem so great with bruises but most of it was fresh. Found lots of great buys including canned tuna for 97 cents, chicken drumsticks for less than $2/lb, 6 bagels for $1.67, margarine tub for $1, and other items for $1. Wow, great prices! There are some departments that were smaller than other stores including the meat and bakery. Bring your own bags or you can use the boxes they have. Parking lot is a zoo though, as we witnessed a few near accidents.

In general, you've got to know your prices when shopping here because some things are 50% to even 100% higher in price than at Superstore or Costco. Save On has a great produce guarantee where if you don't live it or something is wrong with it, not only will they refund you but they will also send you home with a replacement. Another fave item here for our family are the chicken pot pies in the hot deli section - my 11 year old looooves them! As a mom of a young one with food allergies, I really love the free fruit option (basket in produce area) in lieu of a cookie for shopping trips. Also, be on the lookout for serious markdowns usually up front in a green shopping cart! Oh and I REALLY appreciate not having to use a quarter or loonie to get a cart! We find products here that are usually hard to find somewhere else. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and when you have a question, they won't leave you till you find what you needed even if you ask them store manager.
