They provided methods to resolve it, not just giving her medicine/pills but more natural ways to hopefully help the issue. She was worlds better after their recommendations. They also ask you before doing any tests to make sure you approve. Any prescriptions such as a probiotic you can get right there. Pricing is reasonable, I didn't feel it was overly expensive for either visits. I also appreciate the appointment availability - they have a lot of options. Spacious facility with a lot of rooms and friendly staff. Glad I found a new vet office I align well with my dog is happy going to!

I took my dog Franklin in for a grooming appointment when I picked him up, I was told everything was great. The only comment made was that the underside of his tail was "a little short." Nothing else was mentioned. When I got him home and looked more closely, I found that he had been severely shaved/raw between his legs--on his scrotum and around his anus and tail area. This was not a minor nick or normal grooming issue. It was extreme and painful for him and it went completely undisclosed. What followed was days of suffering for my baby. Franklin wouldn't walk anywhere because of how much pain he was in. He refused to go to the bathroom, and he wouldn't eat or drink without me hand feeding him because it was too painful for him to stand up in a normal eating position for him to do so. I had to take multiple days off work to care for him because he couldn't be left alone in this condition. I took him to the vet, where he needed a steroid injection and medication just to try to get some relief and even then, he still struggled to move for days. When I was finally able to get in contact with the manager, after multiple emails sent and gone unanswered, they tried to claim this was due to "sensitive skin." My dog is five years old and I have never had anything like this happen before. This was not a skin issue--this was a grooming issue. They then told me they would call me back after speaking with the owner. That never happened. Despite multiple attempts on my end to reach out, I have not received a proper response or resolution. This is not acceptable. I understand that grooming can sometimes involve small accidents, especially with mats--but this was severe, and the fact that it was not disclosed, followed by deflection and lack of accountability, is extremely concerning. If you're considering bringing your pet here, I strongly urge you to think twice. No pet should have to go through this, and no owner should be treated this way when something goes wrong.

It's an uneasy feeling when you walk into the vet with your fur baby and then walk out without them for whatever the reason may be but the staff at this clinic took time to go over everything and answer an endless list of questions the morning of the procedure, called mid day with an update, reviewed everything that occurred throughout the procedure / time at the vet with you at the time of pickup, and called the following day to check in on how their patient is healing! Even just seeing my pups name on their board gave me a sense of relief. When talking with the vet it's so easy to see how much him and his team care about animals and view our fur babies as one of their own while under their care. My dogs are my world which translates to me being a bit picky about who gets to care for them but If we had to redo everything we would pick them to care for our guy time and time again!!

We have taken both of our dogs here for nearly 10 years and without incident! Our dogs, we love them so extremely dearly, but they were not well-behaved or well-trained for most of their kennel stays. Yet the folks at Howl-a-Day have never, ever complained. One of our good boys has made it into his senior years and one, unfortunately, has not. Our senior boy is well cared for and always showered with affection by the employees of this kennel. Our dearly departed good boy was well cared for even when we had to kennel him while sick and on a laundry list of medication. I really do trust my precious pups with this company. We can travel with absolute peace of mind given our positive experiences with Howl-a-Day. I can't thank them enough for caring the way that they do. I call this place Summer Camp for the dogs! They come home happy and absolutely exhausted.
