He convinced me to let him make "Murphy doors" bookshelves that close. He assured me that he had made these many times. but after several unsuccessful tries he has given up on even trying to make this work. The rest of his carpentry work is terrible. He didn't miter the corners so it looks very poorly finished, he didn't tape the drywall so there is naturally a crack all the way down. There is stain on my carpet and the wood is very rough and unfinished! But really the worst thing he did is that there was a decorative shelf that we took down to build this closet and I was intending to have him put up for us and even discussed it with him. But after trying to fix his mistakes, first the doors wouldn't open, then they were so crooked that they wouldn't close, he cut up my shelf to try to fix his mistakes without having to buy more materials!!! I was outraged to say the least! He did promise to make a new shelf for me but he hasn't and he refuses to come and try to fix his mess!! Please beware of this guy! Like I said he is a very good salesman.
