Could not be more thrilled with how it went. Our original contact left soon after we started planning the event but Anya stepped in and guided us through the whole process. She was so patient with all of our questions/phone calls and willing to work with our ideas to make this a truly memorable and personal event for our daughter's and our guests. The chef was able to work with our specific food requests and designed a menu that we wanted and within our budget. The quality and presentation of everything was spot on. From the second we arrived on the night of the event, everything was perfect. From the set up of the room, to the food, to the bar. Open and bright with their large windows and the patio with the Vancouver skyline is icing on the cake. Our wedding had around 200 guests and the space allowed us to host everyone comfortably, and since a large majority of our guests were from out of town, they were very impressed with the view this venue provides. By booking with Diamond, they also provide you with a day-of coordinator. Stacy and Anya were awesome to work with. I currently live in Calgary so everything was done via e-mail or phone. I never had to wait long to get a response back any time I had questions or concerns. As most weddings would have problems, we encountered a few hiccups the day of our wedding as well, but these ladies being professionals that they are, took care of everything while they instructed me to eat and relax downstairs until everything is sorted out for the wedding party entrance. Note that they do in house catering - but the chef there knows what he's doing. We met with him for our tasting menu and he was very attentive and took down notes on anything that needed to be tweaked. The food was delicious and we received a lot of compliments - which is huge for a wedding. Lastly, a tip for any couple that are planning their wedding in 2016 and on wards. We lucked out because the day of our wedding was the Celebration of Lights opening. Stacy said that sometimes depending on the way the fireworks are set up, you can either see a bit of it from their patio or all of it. We lucked out and at 10pm that night, all our guests were able to watch the entire fireworks show from China (who spent millions, I'm sure), which was something that I'm sure our guests will never forget. He was very helpful in estimating the amount of food I would need for the number of guests and went above and beyond by lending me containers to keep the food hot - I didn't even have to heat up the food to serve it to my guests as it was still very warm from picking it up earlier in the day. We had people from age 12 to 89 enjoying in on the games and it really allowed everyone to interact with each other which was fantastic as alot of people didn't know each other.
