Unfortunately, the business lacks one thing that is required during warmer months, A WORKING CENTRAL AIR COOLING UNIT. I am not a business owner but I think that falls on the responsibility of the property management company or property owner. How can you say you are a community involved business Baxter when you can not even fix an ac unit for over 4 months. I will still sweat it out with my barber because he does amazing work and has amazing customer service skills unlike your office personnel or yourself.

When I signed my first lease a year ago there were several problems with electrical wiring in the…read moreapt that was rented. However, I am a very patient person and gave them time to fix issues that occurred like sparks that would fly if we dared to plug in a cable box in the wall of certain rooms. This problem was fixed within the first 2 months of the lease. There was another problem where the house was not wired properly to meters on the home. With this issue the Utlity Providers could not charge us for utilities until the issue was corrected. Even with several other small issues I reluctantly resigned the lease in July of this year. We were promised that there would be a 24 hr maintenance team in the event of emergencies. When a skunk crawled into our basement through a large space in the house's foundation we found the "24 hr crew" to be non existent. Fast forward to present day there have still been issues where the breakers will trip in the home once every few weeks. The landlord was made aware of it. Once again because of extreme patience to us it wasn't a big issue. Then one afternoon the breakers trip again and the woman of the house is home alone. She heads down the wooden steps to reset the breakers and goes through the staircase on the third step from the top. She is only 4ft11 and weighs 160lbs. There is no reason that she should have went through the staircase. Once she was able to get to her feet she then had to climb out. Frantic and in pain she called me immediately to tell me what happened. When I spoke to Lisa at this office she didn't even seem to care and was more concerned with the reason that someone went into the basement. I told her that I felt it was best that we start to look for other living arrangements. At this point she chose to remind me that I am still responsible for rent payments through the duration of the lease. Lisa also states that she was told by property owner that the steps were "fairly" new. Not sure if I can legally get out of the lease, but hoping for the best. If you are looking to move to the Pocono area I would not recommend Michael Baxter & Associates. On a side note the appearance of the apartment was extremely amazing.

I'm looking to purchase a small house and found several that I wanted to see. I initially…read morecontacted the listing agent, Sheryl Battle, who was "happy" to help. Unfortunately, see was in fact "TOO BUSY" to show the homes I wished to see and passed me off to a colleague, Robin Bovell, who did ,after two separate trips, manage to show me a few of the houses of interest. Moving forward and with Sheryl continuously sending me emails of homes out of budget, I found other homes to visit and asked Robin to show them. Robin asked me when I was available and, not wanting to put her under the gun, suggested two days hence, That did not work for her and so she passed me off to another agent. Bear in mind that, as a senior citizen living alone, I'm not buying an expensive home (i.e.: low commission). Robin proceeded with a text stream with me and another number, presumably the new agent who was going to contact me. I asked if I could text this agent and was told yes, so I did and waited for a reply at the appointed time set by Robin. When the time came and went, I texted Robin to find out what was going on and received a reply stating the agent may be in transit BUT, lo and behold, the number included in the earlier texts were NOT the new agent and, several hours later, the real contact number was revealed and initial contact was set up. Really? I worked in sales for many years and had a floor partner, chosen carefully, that I could trust to do the right thing. This allowed me to pass customers off if i was extremely busy and they needed attention NOW. All I saw in this situation was two women who were pre qualifying me and deciding I wasn't worth their time, so I let them know and wished them well. Crickets! Not the way to do business, at least not the way I did business, Didn't matter to me if you were purchasing the least or most expensive item and I, too, worked on commission. Hopefully, things will get better from here with a new agent, we'll see.
