All dishes are fresh and tasty. The ambiance is calm and relaxing with pretty decors. Service was fairly good too.

After tasting the most amazing curry in Brussels, I've been on the hunt for a mtl equivalent. My quest for an amazing Montreal curry had me try The green curry. It was ok, nothing amazing, the rice on the other hand was reminiscent of uncle ben, definitely not what i would expect from a Thai restaurant . I am still on the lookout for the most amazing curry...

Their food is tasty especially the crispey sesame beef oh so delicious! The all you can eat menu is 31$ they have mutltiple choices, however they excluded the dessert, petoncle, mango salad ans one more I forgot. It's really good however I wouldnt go back regularly because I ate a lot shrimps lol a lot of shrimps on the menu! I recommend to take all you can eat directly because if you order 2 plates you'll be around 25$ already

This my 2nd time at Sawadika. The experience has been better than last time. Beautiful restaurant, gorgeous decor, perfect and quick service and delicious food. We ordered food from tasting menu... believe me it was worth it. It's almost all you eat for 32$. The bring you 8 platters at a time. Every single dish was delicious to the T. Great appetizers, succulent main dishes and heavenly deserts. Highly recommended!

Good food. The maître D seems a little up tight but despite this come anyway. The service was top notch. Plenty of staff running the floor. The food was delicious. I had the Pad Thai and I enjoyed it. Many places make it too sweet. The hot and sour soup was quite enjoyable. They fill up quickly at lunch. I guess the word got out. So come in quick

I highly recommend coming to this restaurant and trying out the tasting menu. It is well worth the value to get to try most of the dishes on the menu (minus the duck and mango dishes). It's even great for large groups since when you order, you just have to select the dishes you want and they will prepare enough for the amount of people at the table. This way everyone gets to try everything and you also have the option of ordering it again.

This is not Thai food probably Chinese food I can tell the difference as a Chinese descent. The soup tomyum taste 0 flavor like real tomyum but tons of sugar ; salad papaye very sour. Even Thai express is better.. sorry to give such bad review but I'm really disappointed after tasting authentic thai food elsewhere.. maybe if he restaurant label itself as Chinese Cantonese food instead of Thai could be more honest.

The matcha latte with almond milk really woke me up. And i was hungry and needing some vegan protein, since the airline food I got was mostly salad. Their braised tofu with a lovely optional creamy coriander sauce, and cooked with mixed vegetables absolutely hit the spot. It was served with warm fluffy basmati rice. The tofu serving was substantial, the braising sauce was very tasty, and the tofu was firm and chewy and filled with saucey flavor. The optional coriander creme sauce and fresh limes were a great complement to the braising sauce. Around me i could see servings of chili, their vegan poutine fries, and the chesesteak come out of the kitchen, and noticed other tables were also complementing their food. I finished with a tangy lemon tart slice and vegan whipped cream - very nice. The tables are fairly close together as it's in town center. They've got several two top tables. This was great for me as a lone traveler, as I easily struck up a conversation with the couple sat on the table next to me, and we had a great chat about how good the restaurant was and then everything under the sun. They were there to celebrate a birthday and the friendly owner who'd come over to talk to them a few times, sent them home with an extra dessert. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. I plan to go back during my week here and try some other dishes.

They have quite a bit of variety on the menu and it was difficult to choose but I finally decided on the sampler platter and my mom ordered a dish with black chickpeas. The black chickpeas are typically spicy but they toned it down for her and it was perfect. My sampler had six small dishes and a dessert with rice in the middle. Every dish was better than the last and the dessert was perfect, not too heavy. The service was very attentive, friendly. The restaurant seems very clean and had a cozy and comfortable ambience. I'm no longer in Montreal, I will return here when I am back and I have already told my Montreal friends they must try this place.

I've been test driving a number of delivery options for work in Ville St Laurent and have been…read morefinding decent Indian delivery particularly difficult. I wouldn't go out of the way for this place, but I'll definitely be reordering. The bad: The naan. I would be shocked if this was never frozen, and would have a heartbreak if someone actually made this from scratch in the restaurant as it comes across as grocery store frozen/microwaved naan... but not as good. The ok: The tandoori chicken, so bright and looking delicious; fell flat on flavor, but for the price I can't say it was bad as it fit the bill. Didn't like that their JustEat menu didn't include a bunch of the things that they deliver based on the pamphlet that came with my order, but I can also understand them trying to limit reorders with JustEat since they pinch a piece of the pie. The good: The lamb curry had a good taste to it, not spicy, but a well balanced kick of flavor. Overall I overpaid for what I got, but only by a little bit and because I'm frugal. Moving forward I know what more to order to get a better bang for my buck. Authentic? Not really. Based on the area I can understand that they might have been forced to Westernize their dishes, but would have been better if it were traditional. When the naan isn't even made on site you're unlikely to get much else thats made with love.

The spring rolls taste like the frozen veggie ones from Asian supermarkets. The salad and rice were also nothing special. However, the for value it's not bad. I thought I had pre-booked a reservation, and we were running late. Parking in this area can be a trick. I dropped my wife off and continued to locate parking. She contacted me and said there was no reservation. I panicked as I parked my truck and sifted through my emails for a confirmation. I hustled the 0.4 miles back to her. When I went in the hostess said it wouldn't be a problem and brought us to a table. My wife later told me she was offered tea while she waited. The waiter was on spot. He knew their menu and provided us with his insights. All the food was Devine. Beautifully laid out and brought out each course in the perfect time. My wife loved the hibachi, she doesn't eat much in general and I do most of the cooking at home. She couldn't get enough of putting items in the hibachi and moving them around. Guess I need a hibachi at home lol. Also my wife is 86 pounds, so she gets cold easy. The hibachi was the perfect personal heater too!! We had a great time together. The ambiance had that perfect Japanese appeal, while still modern. I used to live in Japan so I can be skeptical when it comes to Japanese flair & food. This establishment did not disappoint. So if you are in Montreal, I highly recommend giving this place a go. Side note, pricing is very reasonable considering what is included in packages. And the Saki I had was delicious and looking it up for the going rate they make around $5 per bottle based on what they sell it for and market retail price (place around the corner up charges 110%). So you are more than getting what you pay for in my opinion. And sometimes you just cannot put a price on excellent service! We will definitely be returning when we venture. To Montreal again.
