The pool is fantastic, with an awe-inspiring slide. He made a goal to go down that slide 200 times during his 2 weeks, and I believe he succeeded. Lifeguards are spot-on, and they test all the kids to make sure they're capable of swimming in the deep end: those who can get to wear a neon colored bracelet for easy identification. In addition to the pool, there are beautiful fields and picnic areas, and a sizable gym for rainy day activities. Great location in the outer reaches of Hamilton Township. Most of the counselors we encountered were great, too. Well-trained, helpful, and friendly. The camp sessions are on the costly side, but the quality of the programs makes it worth it. My only complaint is that check-out is a nightmare. I bypassed that chaos on most days by arriving a bit early and signing my son out - a staff member would bring him to me that way. The kids and their counselors were all rounded up and assembled by that time, anyway - about a half hour prior to dismissal, so I don't believe I was throwing a wrench into the process (hopefully). I like to follow rules, generally speaking, but waiting in that line in the hot sun was just nuts. Other than that, the summer programs at the Y were great experience for my son.

I only discovered this two months later after continuing to be charged. When I contacted them for help and requested a refund, I was told there was "nothing they could do" because I no longer had the cancellation paper -- despite the error being entirely on their end. I did everything correctly as a customer, and instead of taking accountability, management dismissed the issue and kept charging me. Very disappointing experience and extremely poor customer service. Be cautious, because if something goes wrong internally, they may refuse to fix it and continue taking your money.

If I had one small gripe, it's that the locker rooms are quite big enough for the size of the gym, but it rarely causes an issue. Regarding the previous reviewers complaint about high school kids, there are definitely lots of local Robbinsville HS students working out here constantly, so much so that I wonder if they have a deal with PF. With that said, I have seen those kids being nothing but respectful, kind and helpful to fellow members of all ages. This is my favorite gym I've ever been a member of, and I thoroughly enjoy working out here. As someone who is far from a fitness nut, that's pretty high praise.

He'll teach you the whys and hows on how to lift safely to prevent injury and he'll work around your limitations when needed. I attend the evening semi-private group training classes. One class and I'm sore for 2-3 days, which means the workouts are effective! I only go 1-2 times per week, due to work schedule restraints, and I still get great results. My colleague received a separate access keycard for building entry, while I was issued access via my CAC only. Subsequent attempts to enter the facility using my CAC were unsuccessful -- the CAC did not grant building access despite front-desk scans confirming registration and authorization. This occurred multiple times after normal duty hours when no staff were present to assist. To continue using the facility, I entered with my colleague (tailgating through the door), which I now understand violates policy, though it was due to the unresolved access issue and lack of on-site support. Having come from a National Guard base, we are unfamiliar with Active Duty rules and policies. On 12 March 2025 (approximately 1500-1530 hours), we visited during staffed hours. After entering (again with assistance from my colleague), I explained the ongoing CAC access problem to the staff member at the front desk (description: wearing PT uniform, glasses, tattoos on arms, short hair or bald). The staff member was immediately confrontational regarding the tailgating policy (which is understandable). However, when I described the CAC failure and multiple prior attempts to resolve it, the response was unprofessional: dismissive, rude, undermining, and included a threat to ban both myself and my colleague. Only after repeated explanations did the staff member acknowledge known CAC access issues for some users and offer a separate keycard -- an option that could have been provided proactively during registration or handled with basic courtesy. I fully support enforcement of access policies and recognize that tailgating was not compliant. However, the initial registration oversight (or system limitation) created the situation, and the interaction could have been resolved professionally without hostility, especially when talking to my colleague, who is a SNCO. Customer service is a core expectation in Force Support Squadron operations, particularly for TDY personnel unfamiliar with local procedures.
