DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! This is my first ever review I have written and its because the people of this company have pushed me this far! We rented a twonhome from them between 2013-2014 and they guy "DAN" has nothing but oied the whole time to ALL of his tenants just to get the homes filled. First we started off fine but them we smelled a horrible smell coming from the laundry room and utility room. Calld Dan and he said he would have someone out there asap to look at it, 2 WEEKS when bye with numerous phone calls and nothing. Finally they came out and said it was our washer making the bad sewer smell. They said they moved the drain up on our wsher and it was fixed. NOPE it was not. After him talking down to me like I was trash I was uspet that he did it and he was still wrong. Right after all that happened, there was a leak in the bathroom that went out into the front room our carpet was wet and selled like dirty dog. We had to live with that for a good month after calling him numerous times AGAIN! he said he would get someone out. But told me that it was probably from me using the shower. I was very upset after that because I had never used that bathroom, it was a guest bathroom and my wife and I always used our master bath, so we knew he was lying there again. After a month of living with the carpet being wet from the leak continuing it was finally fixed. My wife and I thought that the bad stuff was done and we could live in our place stress free " since this was the first 5 months of living there". NOT!!! We called him because the microwave had broke and would not work. We called him on that AND told him that the back window was starting to crack. He said okay he will take care of it. About 2 months went by and the microwave finally arrived at the house and was installed. Luckily we had a backup microwave we had in storage. But the window wasnever fixed, that was not a big deal untill when we mived he accuses us of creating that crack. We never even open that window OR moved the curtains bu a few time a month because it was facng the west and drew in the hot sun. Now while all this is happening the neighbors are experiencing the sewer smell and other mishaps at the same time. Our next door neighbor even had to stay in a hotel room because there carpets where bad and smelled. And if you plan on moving in which I hope you dont because it will be the worst year of your life, count on not getting your deposit back but only a quarter of it. They will nickel and dime you on small stuff that was there before you moved in. BTW SBA as an old buisness owner of handyman home inspections and tepair I never knew painting a door and 6" piece of trim to be a $300 fix. I would of done it for $75. This is not the end of my comlaint, your tenant in number 1, I dont see why you had to lie to her telling her that the old tenants were military and and they moved when you knew that the person living there had passed away in the master bedroom. When this woman WHO just got out of a divorce and was taking care of 2 teenage daughters heard about this she could not stop crying. ALL be because you wanted to fill that space with a tenant you lier. NOPE!! It dont stop here either sorry SBA. Why are the electric bills for these places $300+ average ans maybe if it was a good month it was $180? And also why do you tell people that the walla are sound proof when we hear our neighboors yelling and screaming next door? Our neighboor said she even heard it from 2 homes down. Maybe ill leve you guys with a little dignity and leave a few more things out. BTW the sewer smell is not fixed the day we moved out it was bad and what do you know our washer and dryers were at our new house? Huh explain that. read more
