However, the abandoned- looking aspect of this park is what appeals to me. You will see many locals visiting to do prom, wedding, and cosplay photoshoots at this park. My favorite part is the beautiful pond and the haunted Japanese garden in the back of the park. It is a little difficult to find this garden, but it is hauntingly gorgeous.

If you utilize their properties, you can mark it off your bucket list that you got to stay in a mansion. The best part? They were helpful and easy-going. They answered all of my OCD questions and ensured my family and friends made memories that will last a lifetime. The Plantation is an expansive home with 10 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms with lake access, a private pond, a separate guest house, a salt-water pool, hot tub, outdoor pavilion, two fire pits, theater room, 2 screened-in porches, garden trellis, horse stable and pastures, free access to kayaks and a paddleboat as well as access to rent their pontoon boat. It's kind of a misleading name because Wendy and Amber met with us a couple times before the wedding weekend, and were always available via phone or text for questions. They scheduled out everything and made sure we had everything we needed. Wendy ran the rehearsal the day before and gave very clear directions and assured everyone knew where they were supposed to be, at what time. On the day of the wedding, Amber and Alyssa were the backbone of it all!! Instead of me running around, dealing with vendors, directing the wedding party, helping the guys with their boutonnières and bustling my daughter's wedding dress.. they did it all!! They were amazing! Always easy to find and no hesitation to help us solve any problems. The wedding was held at our house, so there were multiple locations on our property where things were happening, but they were like ninjas and always seemed to be exactly where they were needed! One of the biggest things was my oldest's high school graduation party. All I knew is that I wanted to have this at our house and a 150+ people were coming. I called Wendy to come in and help me put my ideas together and get the ball rolling. After our first meeting, I had a huge weight off my shoulders knowing we had a plan and things were already set in place. The setting up of the graduation party was very easy and not stressful at all. Because of Wendy and Wendy's Wedding & Events we were able to sit back, relax and enjoy the graduation party ourselves. Wendy was there the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. Thank you Wendy for making it where Richard and I could relax, enjoy and most of all, this was a day Victoria will never forget.
