What would make me happy is if my Internet would work. We already had 7 days this month without it, no credit. Now it's out again and a tech can't come out for 24 to 48 hours. We have a new modem, a new power box thing on the telephone wire. Last time they thought it was us and it was actually upstream there was an issue with a new install going in. I have had the service for several month now with no problems other than a quirky beep beep on my provided phone service before I get a solid dial tone. But the fiber optic so far has been outstanding with 1 gig to the house and wired devices and the modem delivers from 400-600 mbs to devices around the house with no WIFI extenders. I also use it a powerline adapter to my bedroom TV and have seen pretty solid coverage at up to 4K read more

Was told since I live in a "small trailer park I'm not a priority and not important." When I went to the office they told me it would take 10 business days to get hooked up because there was no service out to this trailer park. They lied. Some guys came dug a trench then left. A week later I called, they said they had to splice the line in I asked for a timeframe and that's when I was insulted saying I'm not a priority and I'm not important. I could have Internet anywhere from two weeks to over a month from now they have no idea. Horrible customer service I do not recommend read more

If there was a way to pick 0 starts I would. Put in an order for internet in 3/2020. Called back weekly/biweekly for two-three months at which point I gave up. Then over 2 years later someone showed up to install. Told them I wasn't sure I was interested. Decided to try them so I called back to set up install was told I would get a return call. Which I never did. Someone showed up a month later. HORRIBLE communication. I will NOT use this company. Who can wait years/months for service/call back. read more

Speed is wonderful! I had it installed last March 2020. The install from the street was completed very neatly with just a small box on the side of the house. The inside install was a bit tricky, but they solved it. I was paying a local internet for 10 mgs. With South Central I get between 375-425 mgs. In the beginning I needed help from tech support. They were very patient , especially Bill and Galen. Rarely, My speed is slower, but I just go into settings on my I pad and choose the faster of my two networks, the 5G one. My next door neighbor just had them install . I have no reservations recommending South Central Communications. read more

Best customer service anywhere. I just moved to a semi remote location in the high desert. My options were a satellite company like Hughes. Or South Central. I took a chance on the local company (South Central) and I'm very glad I did. The installers spent hours at a time and made several trips to my home to get me the best internet setup possible. The service since has been flawless. This would not have happened with a national company that uses contract installers. The service is good enough to stream HD on multiple devices. Not quite 4K but this far out in the sticks? Here's the best part. Next year they are installing fiber cable in my area. By the end of the year I'll have 1 GIG with no limits! People in major cities can't get internet that fast. read more

just dropped these guys after five years of terrible, inconsistant internet. always telling me there are no problems in my area but after confirming with my other neighbors who also have them that they too are having issues. done with companies that take your money but give back nothing. read more
