I first visited the physio here a while back when I did something to my back and could barely walk. He got me right as rain again. More recently some brutal rostering at work had my back a bit achey, so I went in for a massage this time. Fortunately I could claim it on my private cover, so it saved me a few clams, but once more, feeling a lot better. He has recommended a follow up, but given all the other aches i'm feeling now my back has settled, this is a good idea. Definitely book ahead, because they can be quite busy, but they do open a little later and the staff are all lovely.

Having made extensive research into braces my parents decided to head to Centre St orthodontics mainly because of recommendations from friends and the good Dr's reasonable prices. (It's probably the lowest on the northside) The main man here was a bundle of laughs and had more dad jokes in his repertoire than...well...my dad. Aside from the the playful banter, Dr Yap was brimming with advice, tips and recommendations. Any guy that distracts a kid from painfully tightened braces, is more than AOK by my books. (And his assistants were more than friendly as well!) Every case is different so prices will vary, the $1000 braces removal may seem a bit hefty but it does comes with a years worth of appointments and aftercare. If you're longing for that hollywood smile, I recommend a good long chat with Dr Yap.

Since moving into the area this is the first doctor I've decided I will go back to. The surgery itself is fine. There's parking around the back, but if you're lucky you might nab one out the front. It's relatively quiet. The staff are nice enough. My first visit here I did have to wait 2 weeks, then on arrival they'd booked me in for the following week. Why on earth would I want to book that far in advance (when I'd just wanted the closest appointment possible). However on other experiences I've gotten in that day, so I guess it's just down to luck. It's also one of those places that after you come out from seeing your doctor, you need to stand and wait in silence for the receptionist to decide that you are worth there time. No "sorry I'll just be a second" or even a knowing smile. Just ignored. Isn't that lovely? Or maybe that's just me. I don't get served at bars either, who knows... Anyway, no bulk billing I think it's around $70 for an appointment and they can do your medicare back at the counter.

Was also really impressed with the facilities at the medical clinic too. The staff are all really friendly and everything is super professional. Following my initial consultation, I needed to get bloods, and then see a nurse for an ECG and Ultrasound. I could get it all done straight away onsite and circled back to Dr Madhu to check the results of the ECG. So efficient and highly recommend. Will be making this my local GP moving forward.
