Two weeks after we ordered it, we got a call that it wouldn't be in until the end of march/beginning of April, they asked if we wanted to change our color way and get something sooner but we said no since it was very expensive, and we would have preferred to wait 2 more weeks. Now it's the end of March and I called to ask for an update (they should've called us again) and now we are told our furniture won't be here till middle of April, and then it should take a week after that to call us to get it set up. Now I understand issues with shipping and it is out of their control, but the lady was explaining it to me like I was born yesterday, she was extremely passive, and when I made a comment saying two weeks waiting to 2 months is a long stretch she quickly cut me off saying well it's not 2 months you ordered it in February, and I said well by the time it gets here yes it will be 2 months since we've ordered it, and her tone was very condescending and rude. and I have noticed this from several of their employees at this location. I don't think we'll ever buy from here again! Lack of communication on top of their condescending and rude nature, their employees need to learn how to speak to people, especially when customers are already having an issue with their orders.

It's apparent that they have a set format that they follow to ascertain what your needs and wants are in order to provide you with the various options to meet those needs. If our sales rep did not know the answer to a question, she promptly inquired with a supervisor to find the answer. We were encouraged to try various mattresses in the store that met our criteria to help us make a final decision. After returning home to take some final measurements, we returned the following day to make the purchase. As should be expected, an effort was made to up-sale certain accessories and services. None were unreasonable, however. A holiday sale was in progress, so we were able to obtain a free adjustable base, and a free mattress protector, in addition to the $500 reduction in the cost of the queen size mattress. While delivery to the front door would have been free, we opted for the platinum service at a sale price of $120, which included removal of the old mattress and base, and setup of the new adjustable base and mattress. The day before the agreed upon delivery date, a text message was sent to our cell phone identifying a 2-hour window within which we could expect delivery on the following day. On the delivery date, a text message and an email were received, within the 2-hour window, to let us know that the delivery truck was approximately 20 minutes away. The delivery staff were on time, efficient, and very careful with the removal of the old mattress and base, and the setup of the new base and mattress. Nothing negative to report.

The interesting thing, though, is that it goes beyond a hardware shop: they also have a lot of pet supplies, and yes, they even sell animals such as guinea pigs and ducks. That's pretty cool. The people who work here are really pleasant and helpful, and the selection and pricing are also very good. Country Living is generally my first stop when I need tools or supplies, especially since it's very close to where I live. It's a good thing to support a useful local store. I'd really recommend checking this place out if you haven't already.

I purchased a new mattress from Boscov's for less money with the same warranty. I felt Olender did nothing to support their warranty and over charged us to boot.

A third one that will remain nameless promised to deliver it to me by Sunday. I happened to be in Big Lots on Saturday and the mattress store called me and said they couldn't deliver it by Sunday anymore (although they promised). Big lots had a mattress set for half of what they were charging, plus I had a coupon which was a big saving especially after just moving. The associates were helpful, reliable and went out of their way to assist. The mattress was too big for my SUV so they had a local company that picks up and delivers furniture and they were able to pick up my set and deliver it. Whenever I'm in the store they are always helpful they are the epitome of great customer service.

Paula, the current owner is so friendly, she is a pleasure to deal with. She has a very discerning eye, so everything is in great condition or new or like new. I love shopping consignment because there are so many one-of-a-kind items. She carries women's & Mens (!) clothes, jewelry, shoes, handbags, accessories, & some housewares, art & books. She recently revamped the store so it's easy to find the areas you are interested in. I love that the men have their own cozy room. Everyone in there, from the staff to the customers are so friendly, I sometimes feel like it's like a neighborhood pub, without the drinks. (Although, being near Halloween, there is some candy for you at the counter) I highly recommend visiting here. *Just want to mention here that the 3 star reviews below seem to be about a different store. 1 is a review of a place in an outlet mall that only sells women's vintage & the other mentions labels cut out, which this store doesn't do.
