Not your typical barbershop.. my barber had no confidence and took an hour to give me what usually takes 15mins tops. She reminded me of how inexperienced and slow she was throughout the whole time, made me very uneasy the whole time. Couldn't wait to Gwt out of there. To cap it all off - the man who I assumed was the owner, abundantly clear how much he likes to squeeze a penny. Told my barber to charge me $61 bc she took her time and gave me a quality haircut. I accepted it but knew then I'd never be back, he picked up on it and all the sudden wanted to charge me $36. Expensive lesson but won't ever be back. read more

I called ahead to confirm that they would be able to take me in. Chris told me that as long as I got here before four he would personally cut my hair. I arrived at 3:55 to find that he locked the door. Then I proceeded to knock on the door. Chris came up to me and started to "talk through the window" which I couldn't here a word. Then proceeded to tell me to leave through hand gestures even when he realized I am the person who called ahead. Totally unprofessional, if you say you will do something you better follow through on your word. I will never come back and speak bad about my experience through everyone I know. read more

Worst haircut I've got in years. I had to reschedule my appointment due to a migraine and April seemed like she was in a bad mood because of it. She asked me one question on the length and then proceeded to shave all the hair off the back of my head. I asked for 1 inch off the top and she took off at least 2. Uneven cut on the sides. $29 for a terrible high and tight that I did not ask for. I will not be returning. After getting my money back I was informed by April that she intentionally did a poor job because I postponed an appointment and then showed up maybe 10 min late because I was sick. I'm sure the rest of the barbers are ok but I would avoid April if you need to come here. read more

So yesterday I made the mistake of going to a Supercuts which turned out to be the worlds fastest haircut under 3 mins. I don't have a lot of hair and wanted a zero fade. That is to the skin on the bottom and getting an 1 inch left on the top. What I got was an all around buzz of an inch. The woman left before I could pay and had her friend punch out her time card. By the time i was out the door I felt like I really needed to get my hair fixed because I wanted what I asked for. So I called up Scavelli's Barber Shop which is a legit Barber Shop and not a drive thru hack job place like those chains I regrettably went too. When I came into Scavelli's I was greeted by April who was cutting someones hair. I knew they were surprised because when I called I said I needed to fix my bad haircut. I am sure they thought I would have some hair and not next to nothing, haha. But that did not matter. When April sat me in her seat I explained to her what I wanted and she did a great job fixing it up for me with what little hair there was. It wasn't a five minute haircut and she took the time to make it clean and even. Made sure at the end that I was satisfied with the look (which I was) and gave me a mirror to check the back of my head. I will certainly be back again. Visiting from oregon and had Sweed (sp?) as my barber. This guy is fantastic, my cut was excellent and he made sure I was happy before I left my chair. While there, I decided to get a hot towel straight razor shave. This was the first time I had received one and it was great, and worth every penny. I want to start off with the fact that I've never written a review before but I felt the need to on this. I took my grandpa to get his haircut and a shave. As soon as I walked in I could feel the negative energy, I asked if the barber could do a shave and he replied "I guess." I had to wait longer because apparently that barber is the only who can shave. During the haircut I could feel the barbers negative energy towards us because the haircut was taking longer than the barber wanted it to and because he has to do a shave. Halfway through the haircut he tells me he "might not be able to do the shave because his beard is thick" which didn't make too much sense to me because you're a barber, you should be use to thicker beards. He ended up attempting to shave my grandpa. He cut my grandpa multiple times to the point he was bleeding and my grandfather asked for him not to finish the full shave and to leave the mustache. After the haircut I went to pay and the barber charged me for two haircuts and when I asked him about it he said "I did a full cut and a full shave." I have never been to a barber shop that charges you for two haircuts because he used a straight blade. Congratulations, you're a F***ing barber, you should know how to use a straight blade, don't gas yourself up. This is my second time at this place and both times I have had TERRIBLE experiences. I would never recommend this place! If you need a haircut go to FORT MYERS BARBER SHOP!! They are the best and if they weren't booked I would have taken my grandfather there. Ask for Hamed, Chino, or Chris they are the best but everyone at that shop is good and they half the price. read more

I was really impressed with all their great reviews so I decided to give them a try. Don't waste your Money if you get Dave. He doesn't really listen or he only knows how to cut the old fashioned way, with shears only. If you need a style go somewhere else or at least try another barber. I ended up going a week later to another shop to clean up and blend in my hair. So unless you just want a Buzz Cut try another barber or another barbershop. read more

Walked in on my lunch break and got an excellent haircut from Matt. Loved that I got a straight razor shave on the back and sides. Would never even get that offered at those chain places. Good to see that this place is open till 7PM, M-TH, so I can get a cut after work. There are other decent barbers in Naples too, but they all close by 5PM on weekdays. read more

When I first visited Scavelli's in February I enjoyed the feel it has of an old-fashioned barber shop. But when I returned in Mid-May with the pandemic still raging the male barber who cut my hair and appeared to be the owner went to work with no mask until I insisted that he put one on. That angered him. He told me has been checked three times so didn't need to wear one. He wore no gloves because he said it wasn't required. And he said I needn't hold a mask to my face while he worked but he would allow it if I insisted. I did. When my ordeal was over, I noticed his colleague, a woman, wore not only a mask but a plastic face shield covering her entire face. My barber charged me about 25% more than I paid the first trip. I would advise anyone who goes to Scavelli's to insist that the woman cut your hair and that the other barbers keep masks on while you are there breathing in such close quarters.
