While I did receive my order in a timely manner, two weeks to the day from my order date, the perfume smells absolutely nothing close to the notes I requested. I wanted vanilla, lavender, sandalwood and tobacco. I received something that smells like waffle crunch cereal. Maple syrupy, cinnamony, patchouli, baby powder, something like that. It's definitely not something I would ever wear. Extremely disappointing. The scent is so strong it's overwhelming and it isn't a pleasant combination of smells either. read more

Received my order lots of debris, lint and hair found floating inside the bottle. I called left a message about my complaint, emailed customer service for answers and refund. I doubt I will hear anything or receive a refund. Super disappointed and horrified. I really want to take a sample and look under a microscope and look for bacteria. read more

Well. Going out of my way to actually write a review, because I am really just SO HAPPY (and mostly people seem to be motivated to write reviews when they are pissed). So 20+ years ago I wandered into a place that let me brew my own teeny sample perfume combo. Some how, 15 year old me ended up with a fantastic scent (monkeys and typewriters?). That place went out of business not long after. I have been hording that tiny vial of perfection for all this time, adulterating it with this and that to keep it going (no, I don't actually know what I am doing). I had attempted to find another perfume that smelled the same, or at least similar, but anything I found only contained 2 of the 3 scents, and that 3rd scent is what really made it special. I honestly had not bothered to look again for many years, when it occurred to me that the internet is now really a thing, and that a craft-your-own place probably existed somewhere. Of course I found a few, but most of the websites offered... general guidelines. I had a sort of specific recipe. Readers, I was indeed worried that I did this entire thing stupidly influenced by a second glass of wine. I almost never actually wear perfume, have no competence in actually crafting perfume, and was attempting to recreate a fluke from decades ago. Plus I'm not rich, and when I gave half a care to poking 'nice' perfume, I could not justify the expense (almost same here honestly, but still in my budget, so yay!). Then the bottle arrived. In its pretty bag (I am a sucker for draw string bags). And it smelled like my scent. Or at least exactly like I wanted my scent to smell like! (My 'original' scent was now 2 decades of adding alcohol and scented oil to keep the original going, so let's not pretend this was THE THING any more.) But now I have a bottle that I can keep using! And then reorder! And... and... SMELL THIS! Crap. Internet currently fails at sense of smell. (I imagine a few years from now children will be laughing that in the 'old days' you could not share smells online.) In short, ( ok this review is not short) I have no idea what makes your nose happy, but I gambled on an almost drunken internet purchase, and WON. read more

At first I was really nervous about working with Scentcrafters because I had read some really bad reviews. But I gave them a chance anyway and I'm so glad I did! I have a business and I needed several custom made perfumes. I specified what I wanted and we worked together on the other project. It did take time( about 6 weeks because it was a big project) but so worth the lead time. The perfumes arrived packed with care and within two days of completion. The scents are amazing! And long lasting! I have used two different scents in two days and I'm telling you no joke they lasted me through a 16 hour shift! I was super pleased with my scent. I opted to describe what I wanted it to smell like instead of choosing different scents to mix together. I described what I wamred by saying "a fun fragrance with flowery hints at the end" and that is EXACTLY what it smells like. Its perfect!
