I found Mac and Kat on Yelp and messaged them. They were super quick to respond, schedule a consult, and come by to clean the next week. They were super thorough!! Not only did they shampoo the carpeting, wipe down all surfaces, and disinfect the bath areas, they wiped down the windows- inside and out (we have a lot of tall windows, too). Mac even repaired a broken vanity drawer in the process! And the pricing was very reasonable given the amount of cleaning that was completed. Needless to say, we are super impressed. We highly recommend them and will definitely hire them again.

Minus four stars for lack of cleaning ability, bidding ineptitude, and lack of professionalism. Robin gave us a quote of $450 for a deep cleaning and $75 for bi-weekly cleaning.  Robin is the sole worker.  She does not have any staff.  $450 is about what I pay for teams of 2-3 maids to spend 8-10 hours cleaning my house.  But, her biweekly cleaning rate was so reasonable, I decided to give her a shot.  For the $450 we paid, Robin barely spent 5 hours in our home; and her work was incredibly sloppy.  She skipped quite a few items she agreed to do that should be part of a normal cleaning:  a stair case, a bath tub, a shower, ceiling/light fixtures in multiple rooms, also left open garbage bags with garbage spilled onto the garage floor, pushed dirt into corners, etc.  A week after this cleaning, I contacted Robin about my notes.  I told her they were extensive, but I was confident we would eventually figure out how to work together if she was willing; and all the issues did not need to be resolved the next cleaning.  I did not ask her to come in on a different day, just plan extra time the next cleaning.  Without seeing my notes, she increased the $75 biweekly cleaning bid to $110.  Quite an increase.  I understand I expect a certain level of service, and I can be demanding.  So, I agreed to the increase after 2 cleanings at the original bid price because I did not feel we received $450 worth of cleaning the first time around.  Robin agreed.   A few days later, Robin asked for a list of my notes.  I told her I would send one closer to the next cleaning.   Two days before the cleaning, I sent her my list as promised.  There were some issues with the communication.  I emailed her at the email address listed on her business card, and the email was returned.  She then asked me to resend the email to an email not listed on her business card multiple times.   About 2 hours before she was scheduled to come, she sent me an email saying my list caused her anxiety, she would never be able to make me happy, etc.  She ultimately said she would not be coming back.   Under the circumstances, I should not have had to request a refund; one should have been offered to me.
