First time I tried benefits of the doubt, probably a rough day. 2nd time I didn't get where the attitude came from as I just walked in the door & was the only customer. She is impatient, acting like the 5 minutes I spend looking over products to decide is so aggravating to her. This 3rd time I wasn't excited to walk in & see her because the 2 previous experiences with her have sucked. 12:30pm, I am the only customer inside. No greeting, so I nervously try to make conversation about the car in thr parking lot (with a bumper sticker I recognized on my own car) She has an attitude & then a (I am assuming supervisor) came out from the back, very positive, very happy & cheery, clearly happy to be engaging with customers. (He had a curled mustache!) While I am checking out & talking to the fellow- the woman interrupts me while I am mid sent an d, talking to the man- butting in to say "Let me see your ID". There is no customer behind me waiting, there is nothing to rush except SHE wants to rush me & rush my pleasant conversation with her boss/coworker. She could have waited the 20 seconds for us to finish our conversation. She's rude, she's not friendly, & it's obvious this is just how her customer service works. I absolutely WILL NOT go back to this location, she is impatient, rude, & will make you feel like you're bothering them- simply for doing their job & buying products from this location. Thankfully I am not local to Kannapolis so I for sure will never be back to this location- I would rather go or drive anywhere else than be in that nasty woman's energy or presence again. Save your time & money- the customer service here does not deserve the money we work hard for & to spend.

The last two times I have been there, they have sold me a nonworking vape. The first week, I chopped it up as a defect and personal loss and left it at that. The second one though, was too much. I returned it there in the original box, with the receipt. It was obvious it did not work as it lit up full battery and juice, but did not give any smoke. At all. I politely requested an exchange. The old lady working behind the counter stated I should have opened it in the store and tried it. I don't open my cereal in the store and try it... This place will no longer get my business, and I recommend to anyone reading this, they don't deserve your money either.

As I entered tonight there was an employee removing the empty boxes from the shelves and tiding up the shelves from a busy shopping day. There was another employee in the freezer section restocking. They had three registers running with another ready to open if they got backed up. The employees act like they care. I am usually a loyal customer to name brands. At Aldi, I feel confident in buying their store brands. Their crackers, cereal, cookies, and many other items are actually better than the name brands. Their frozen foods are great. The produce is fresh. They also sell some nonfood items. Some toys. Sometimes gardening items. It changes seasonally. Tonight they had holiday decorations on display.

The staff are friendly and helpful (there just aren't many of them) and the parking lot is clean. Yes, you need to bring a quarter for your cart (this policy is not in force during the pandemic) and you will be bagging your own groceries. They sell bags, so you'll want to bring your own.
