We joke around that I pay her to hurt me weekly, but her deep tissue massage is what keeps me going week to week. I had massage therapy before after the accident with another practice for over a month and received little to no relief of my pain. One visit with Maren and I could cut back on pain medication. After three visits, I was able to cut back to OTC as needed. She is able to keep my migraines at bay, even going as far as to stop them in their tracks, if I happen to get one when I have an appointment with her. I also feel a definitive difference (migraines and horrendous neck pain/upper back pain) when I am not able to see her i.e. vacations or busy work schedule.
