His brokerage came recommended from a friend and I was due for a renewal so I thought I'd give the "local guy" a shot. After explaining to him in an email and phone messages that he was recommended you think it would create a little more initiative to make contact with the potential client. After a lot back and forth i finally received a quote from him. He came in much less then my pervious auto and homeowners companies. Now, Keep in mind this went on for about 3 weeks, which is crazy for Something that can normally would take 20 minutes. At no point in time did he ever attempt to apologize for his lack of communication and lackluster service. Like some other local businesses he treats clients as if they need him and with a high degree of arrogance. So 2019 rolled around and I received a new bill from the company natgen premier, it was almost double roughly (42 percent more) then last years price. I've never had a claim and have a clean driving record. So no reason for the giant hike. Scott couldn't offer an explanation for the raise and instead gave me quotes from companies that were even higher then natgen. I ended up cancelling and going to another company, as of March 22nd. As of this day Benson insurance still hasn't canceled my policy and I continue to receive bills. It took him over a month and multiple emails to respond to my request. So if you like doing business with the "little guy" and getting price gouged while receiving zero service then give these guys a call. I'm so glad I didn't have a claim!
