After filing, I received letters from the IRS indicating that items were filed incorrectly. What should have been a routine process turned into a months-long ordeal of trying to fix mistakes that should never have happened. This year, we had to work with another professional to correct those errors. After filing amendments, we actually received significantly more money back clear evidence that the original returns were not prepared accurately or thoroughly. From a professional standpoint, there were several major concerns: Lack of accuracy and attention to detail in filings Failure to properly review returns before submission Poor communication and lack of follow-through Providing reassurance that everything was "handled" when it was not Creating additional financial and administrative burden due to errors In addition, interactions with their team were consistently unprofessional. Communication felt dismissive and, at times, outright rude. When you are trusting someone with something as important as your finances and business compliance, you expect professionalism, clarity, and accountability....none of which we experienced.
