My group of 4 stuck out like a sore thumb and though it's not the hotels fault, I want to deter people who are in their mid 20s- early 30s from visiting this hotel. The older folks broke their neck staring at us eat breakfast and they also hog all the lounge chairs by the pool around breakfast time by putting their towels down. Pretty efficient for judge mental old crunchy bones. The staff here is above and beyond. They are so welcoming and that's the best thing about this place. The rooms are ok sized, but my brother in law received a complete welcome tray of desserts and chocolate in his room while we received two cookies in a bag. A hotel should be consistent with these things! The AC is the major killer though. It's so hot in Tenerife and the ac barely works in the room. It's always hot and stuffy and just for that I will not be back.

I was a bit concerned by the road noise mentioned but...I needn't have worried. I can only surmise that some of the previous reviewers have been very unlucky as the road noise is NOT an issue, or certainly wasn't for us in room 102. As for being overlooked by the walkway outside - again, it is NOT. There is a path that goes past the balconies, but it is below the level of the rooms and not exactly intrusive. I don't know why people were complaining about this! So picky! The complex is clean and tidy and the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Our check-in process was smooth and quick, and actually, probably the best I've experienced anywhere in the Canaries. Our room was well-equipped, kitchen-wise - including a bottle opener and corkscrew, kettle, toaster, cooker - way more than you get most places of a similar caliber. The beds and pillows were the usual - not overly comfortable but perfectly adequate for resting your head for the evening. We hired a fan from reception as it was quite warm - at 20 euros for the week (plus 10 euros deposit), I found this very good value for money. The room was cleaned every day apart from Thursday and Sunday, towels changed every two days, as advertised on the info sheet given to us at check-in. The pool area was nice and quiet, even with the road going past over the perimeter wall - it did not intrude on the ambience whilst we were there. The pool is slightly heated - just enough to take the chill off. Lovely and refreshing at all times and well-maintained. The pool bar seemed to close very early - I only used it once to buy an ice lolly. The lady on duty was a bit grumpy to me, but fine with my partner - perhaps she just didn't like the cut of my jib! This was the only negative point about the service I encountered all week. We moved to room 202 for our late check-out which was identical to the one below we'd been in all week. Drawback of the location of this place is that it's up a fairly steep hill, so can be a bit weary to climb back up it from the beach. HOWEVER - simply turn right out of the apartments and immediate right again to go up/down a much gentler slope into Las Americas and that problem is eliminated. Vistas Beach is a 5 min walk down the hill - 2 sunbeds and a parasol costing 12 euros a day. Plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walk in either direction, too. All in all, I would recommend this place to couples looking for a quiet getaway. Room Tip: Room 102 is right by the pool!

It s also only steps away from the beaches wlth loads of options for dining. Our room was smaller than we expected but it was just what we needed ... who spends all their time in their room anyway?! What I do recommend, however, is the upgrade to privelege level as it includes some nice ammenities such as VIP lounge with free cocktails, a nespresso coffee maker in the room, chocolates every night, and a wonderful beach view. It also includes a lovely breakfast via a selected menu or a buffet. It s worth it! I would definitely stay here again. Si, yo quiero mas champagne with my breakfast!

Downstairs there is very large well lit lounge area with table service. The music is good and it was fantastic to see people dancing (properly) jiving (properly) and generally enjoying themselves. On occasion the entertainment wasn't for myself and my wife, so we just popped out for the evening after dinner. The buffet was great, service was excellent. We had no problems going down a bit earlier to avoid the rush. Drinks were priced reasonably for a 4 star hotel. Accommodation was good, quiet and kept very clean through out our stay. I would recommend this hotel if you would like peace and quiet, a good book, a snooze by the pool after breakfast and excellent food, however I think I'll wait another 40 years before I return.

The restaurant is first class and the terrace a wonderful place to dine as the sun goes down and the lights twinkle over my beautiful second home that is Los Cristianos. You couldn't ask for more as all what you could want is minutes away but you can escape into this sea of tranquility whenever the whim takes you. The staff are as good as any you will find and there really is no down side apart from when it's time to leave. Truly 5 star.
