I've had a few good barbers in my life and for unforeseen reasons I've lost them due to relocation or being unavailable when I've needed them. I tend to use the walk-in route when I get a cut. By a lucky chance, Christian and I crossed paths one day when I was just a walk in. It was like magic and I haven't, and wouldn't, sit for anyone else. A little background…read more I have had been going to the same barber/stylist shop for more than 40 years (since I was a teenager). Over that time, two of the guys have cut my hair. Recently my guy, that has been cutting my hair for the last 15 years, has had some back problems and has reduced his hours, so I needed to find a new shop. Did a local search and came across Distinguished Image and read some of the reviews, and decided to give Christine and her shop a try. It was also a benefit because she is much closer to home (Hatfield) vs me driving 40 minutes to King of Prussia every 4 weeks. Very simply, I am extremely pleased with the cut I got yesterday. I waited till this morning to post my review, just to see how I felt a day later. Christine listened to my concerns (about changing "barbers") and did a great job not just cutting my hair but also in making me feel comfortable and confident with her work. Also, the price is very fair and she was able to get me in with just a days notice. If you are looking for a new shop, for whatever reason, do your self a favor and get to Distinguished Image. Saturday, however, Ed is responsible for possibly the my worst cut I've ever gotten in my life eliciting comments like: "did you try cutting your own hair," "whoa!," "are you going to get it fixed?" "you know there's a hair cuttery next to Genuardis, they can probably fix that over lunch" and the most polite: "yeah... I was gonna ask..." I understand having a TV on when you're going to be working all day, but when you're working on someone's hair that should be your focus, not the Hot Rods show (which distracted me long enough for me to leave before I noticed how bad the cut was). To say it was uneven barely scratches the surface of what happened. I called in and the owner said he would give me my money back.
