Many a selection at this nursery. Also appreciate that all staff that we interacted with were friendly and seemed to know quite a bit. The grounds are pretty big but they have golf carts to cover it, which I was glad with how cold it was. They aren't the cheapest with it being a small business but so far we like our purchase! I will say I was weary of the direction to keep the burlap and wire basket on but we will see how the tree fairs. read more

My sister was trying to find a house plant so we discovered this place and stopped by. They had quite a lot of options, but we were unable to find the right plant. The options they had were anything from rose knockouts to hibiscus plants. Great place to come and lol for a new plant or tree! read more

Avoid this business at all costs! They are extremely rude, have installers who mishandle trees and install them incorrectly resulting in the trees dying, then want to charge you for their errors. After my repeated negative experiences, I have discovered that other previous customers have had similar experiences. There are other nurseries in our area that are awesome and knowledgeable. I had a phenomenal experience with Schmittel's Nursery. We visited after my daughter's soccer game and immediately found a tree that would work with what we wanted in our front yard. After discovering the multiple utility lines in the front yard, the planters worked with us to find an appropriate and safe area to plant the tree, were careful not to disturb too much of the lawn around the planting area, and worked diligently to ensure the tree was planted well and would look good and strive. Purchased a tree and paid extra to have existing tree removed. Received a call that they could not remove the existing tree and would have to come back. Came home to find our lawn torn up with tracks, tree not removed and existing top of tree hidden on side of yard. I expected much higher quality of service from this company as they had planted trees for us before. I am now seeking a refund for the tree and installation as well as repair to the yard. We ended up cutting up the top of the tree ourselves and will remove the rest of the tree. Their installation crew left a sour taste in our mouth after a good experience selecting our new tree. read more

Bought first japanese maple with a 200 dollar gift card my.mom gave us as a christmas gift. I had to pay 150 extra to.get it ,350 $ total . Planted it in front yard location ,kept it watered , watched it brown out and die. Contacted them, after many attempts went in to get a half credit towards another japanese maple. Planted it , kept.it watered watched it brown out and die . Followed the rules. 2 trees 500 bucks . Both dead. Always loved a nice yard and moved to the Maryland Heights Missouri recently and both the front and back yard needed a makeover. I originally spoke to Matt here who couldn't have been more helpful! He first met me at my home and we walked thru the front and back both with Matt noting everything both positive and negative about my yard. He then requested that I come to the nursery and he walked me thru the trees, shrubs and flowers that he recommended. The bottom line is my yard is now beautiful. The neighbors in my culdesac have already came by and complimented me on the yard! Their entire staff at the nursery and especially Matt and his crew did a great job at a great price too!!!!!!!! Lost three trees to a wind storm in the summer of 2017. Scott came out, listened to my thoughts, and then made some suggestions about how to protect the south side of the house. My wife and I came looking for a maple tree to be planted in our front yard. We were hooked up with Chris who took us on a tour of their inventory aboard one of their golf carts. After showing us examples of all of the available types of maples, we decided on the one we wanted. Chris then showed us every one of the type we wanted (they have an incredible amount of trees spread over their property to choose from so this took about 45 minutes). Chris was incredibly patient and answered all of our questions and was even more selective than we were in choosing the perfect tree. I cannot over emphasize how helpful he was as he could have a made a sale in half the time he spent with us. The installation crew arrived on the date scheduled and did a truly outstanding job in planting it. It looks absolutely beautiful and has resulted in a number of neighbors coming up to us complimenting how wonderful it is. We are very, very satisfied customers. read more

A lot of nuseries have some trees and bushes but this place has an great selection of plants, especially of big trees. The staff is not only knowledgeable but they provide great customer as well. so far, I'm not impressed. It took them a month to deliver my tree and shrub. Meaning I paid over a month ago but they couldn't schedule me for a month. Not a big deal. Finally the day came. The office called to give me a 30 mins notice and of course, with such little notice, I could not be at my house. He planted the tree on the wrong side of the stump that I had ground specifically for a new tree to go in. THEN he forgot the ewe shrub that I had paid $150 for. THEN he cut my dogs' invisible fence. So he left and I called the office. I was told he'd come back to fix everything that day so I waited around all day. no one showed up. no one even called to tell me no one was going to show up. How inconsiderate! The next day I was told the guy would be there sometime that day. He did call and told me he was on his way. Then he called back and said he didn't have the right tools so he'd have the office call to reschedule me. So, my boyfriend had to spend 2 hours fixing the dog fence, buying parts, etc. Then the office called to reschedule me and they can't get to my house for two weeks. Wow. What an incredible lack of customer service! I'll go elsewhere for my nursery, landscape needs. read more
