With the EAB critter having destroyed some of our ash trees, I knew they had to be taken down…read morebefore they caused damage. I got quotes from THREE different services before finding Pauley's, and I'm glad I found them! One of our larger trees was growing inside our playground, making for a challenging job. One of the other guys quoted a ridiculously high amount, and wanted me to take apart and move parts of our playground -- he also increased the quote when he came back to look a 2nd time, and changed the scope of what he'd do. The 2nd guy also quoted very high and was concerned about the playground. Kevin and his partner worked together well, and took care of my trees carefully, causing *no* damage to our playground -- they were pleasant to work with, offered options to work within our budget (e.g. we chose not to have full clean-up), and came back each day to make sure the job got completed. It got COLD and even snowed a bit -- didn't stop them at all! Truth: the "partner" was Kevin's wife, and it was a joy watching them work together, carefully roping the chunks down to avoid any damage.
