Have gone there years for their amazing gift shop. The nostalgic toy area is so fun to look through but all the other things they have in the back room are beautifully displayed and reasonably priced. Very excellent fresh veggies, and other condiments that they have for sale. But the pies are off the Chart. The fruit pies are well worth the 25 or so dollars they cost they're huge. They're deep dish they're fresh the delicious the large size pot pies are amazing but I love it when I can get the miniatures for $7.95 for one. They are just adorable. Site doesn't offer any bug spray, but maybe should? As far as Covid safety, only thing is a reservation system which limits attendees. About 8-9 rows so plenty of space to spread out, but it's self regulated. Some parents corral their Children and others don't so you're at mercy of others, or have to speak up. We also got chased down rows by an oblivious sneezing and coughing man who prob had allergies and wore a mask... No one from farm is monitoring people once in. No questions or temp checks for admittance, though email prob asks that you mind it. Also: expensive! Expect to pay about $20-25/gallon baggie, which holds about 3-4 pounds. Blueberries are delish. When Two Small Farms reorganized, I stuck with my usual pickup spot, which went to High Ground Organics. I was a little nervous. The produce is as high quality and varied as I could have hoped.

We liked that there wasn't even a glitch when the craziness happened with covid-19, we just got our deliveries as usual. In fact, because our delivery spot closed for the quarantine, we volunteered to have our front porch as a drop off location. It was excellent. In mid-July 2024, they made an announcement that they were shifting their focus to prepared foods with an option for a preset produce box.l missed it. One day, our veggies just never showed up. I called, texted, emailed. None of the contact info was active and their website went down. I was sad & a little worried. It was just weird how everything stopped all at once. I somehow managed to figure out what happened and tracked them down. If you still want a preset produce box (not customized because they couldn't afford the warehouse space), they still deliver. Here is the new website: https://csa.farmigo.com/join/farmhousecafe It would have been 5 stars, but the rocky transition & lack of availability for support cost a star.

Now, you might be thinking, "that's great but how is the customer service?" - and I have to say, they even excel here too! I like to call just to tell them they do a great job and they always answer and always take the time to listen and say they are thankful. In my previous review, I mentioned that I was keeping my…read moresubscription despite the decline in variety and service because I had purchased bulk king salmon which supposedly they were keeping in storage for me, and I was requesting deliveries of several fillets every couple of months. In March 2024, I received an email saying that they needed to clear out their bulk storage, and I had the option of receiving all of my salmon at once, or with each regular delivery until it's all gone. I was to reply within a week or the remainder of my supply would be donated. I replied saying sure, send some of it with each regular delivery, to which they replied: "Unfortunately, the season has been closed since last year but, we can definitely send Sockeye or Coho salmon instead." Turns out even though I paid for king salmon AND they claimed that they still had it and needed to clear out storage, they actually didn't have the amount all of their members had pre-purchased in storage, due to "quality concerns" beyond a certain period. Which they NEVER gave me any heads up about until this point. So when their email went out, the first handful of people to reply got the rest of the king salmon, and they wanted me to accept a different variety instead. A couple of months and over a dozen emails later, I finally received a refund for the rest of the salmon I thought I had bought. I'm very disappointed in how this situation was handled. While I see that they now explain the terms more clearly for their bulk sales, with the prioritization of ad-hoc sales over regular subscriptions for product variety and quality, I don't see the value of this service anymore compared to buying fish from my local farmer's market.
