Horrible customer service and reckless driving! I saw a company truck from this business driving on the thruway. The driver who was driving a truck with a large flatbed trailer attached was weaving in and out of lanes without using a blinker. He was speeding and even cut me off missing my car by about 12 inches to hurry up and get off an exit that he was about to miss. It is extremely dangerous to be driving this way on roads to begin with, but even MORE dangerous for a large flatbed truck to be doing this. I was shocked to see this kind of driving from a professional business who advertises on the side of their vehicles. After seeing this, I called the company to let them know to hopefully just have it discussed with the driver and maybe change the way he was driving in order to keep him AND other drivers safe out on the road. As I was in the middle of explaining what I observed, I was rudely interrupted by the lady on the phone. She began to scream at me and then hung up. Horrible customer service, I needed my car towed to the Canadian border from the US, that's what was agreed upon. The tow truck came, picked me and my car up, and left me stranded very far away from the border. I then called the manager Bob and was met with a rude and irritable man who was not helpful, did not admit to his mistake, and hung up on my face. Do not use this company. read more

Wow....what can I say about this f!lthy tow company...they get my car off the thruway w a flat tire....yep they got there fast lol but everything after was a mess....they had to take my car for a 5 minute drive and by time they got my car to the tire spot all the oil was out of my car.....the tow guy calls me and says I'm sorry I had almost got.into an accident on bailey st. And had to brake fast and your car shifted really bad and now your oil is leaking ....then says my boss is about to call you....the "BOSS" call me and tries to lie and says we don't know what happened to your car ....I then tell him that's incorrect you know what happened your driver just told me.....he was very every rude and hangs up.on me......NOW THEY WONT ADMIT FAULT TO GEICO AND IM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DAMAGES THEU CAUSED.......oh yeah let's not forget when the new tow company came and asked what happened he said let me guess it was schoemanns and yes it was!!!!!!! Not a trust worthy company at all....especially with your car that you need daily for work and your children!!!! OH AND THE DAMAGES WERE ONLY 600 AND THEY STILL WOUDLNT TAKE CARE OF IT AND THEY KNEW THEY DID IT!!!!! Be careful using them!!!! read more

I needed a tow to my mechanic today when having problems starting my car. I was serviced by Schoemann's through my AAA roadside coverage. The driver, Mark Q. was fast, friendly, and efficient. He gave me some tips and suggestions as to what the root problem might be with my car after I told him what's been happening with it. He was polite and accommodating and set me at ease in what can often be a stressful and uncomfortable situation. Having had some unpleasant towing experiences in the past, I appreciate the quality of the service I received today! read more

I don't know the tow truck drivers name but he towed my Jeep on Valentine's Day. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was there before they said he would be, he was polite and respectful, this man is an asset to your company again I don't know what his name is but I honestly hope he knows that he was appreciated and his kindness on a day that was sad (I didn't get to say goodbye RIP) to my friend, thank you young man and if I ever see you out I will definitely buy you a drink. read more

I had my car towed by this company recently and I think they just didn't care because it was getting paid thru insurance, but still ever time I called the guy who pick up ATTITUDE WAS TERRIBLE. And they picked my car up late at night with no confirmation text, so I was unable to tell the tow truck driver were exactly to put my car. So when u called the next morning to let them know they should have called so I could tell him where exactly the DEALERSHIP told me to put my car he says "will as long as it's on the property it's not my problem" JUST RUDE! I will not be using this company again and I do not recommend. Unless you want rude customer service & get told that they pretty much don't care. read more

They picked up my daughters vehicle smoked a cigar in the vehicle and was rude and ignorant not only to me but to the body shop where the van was going to. Then it took them an hour to get the vehicle to the body shop. When we called the manager to let him know about the service we received from his driver he told us to go to Delta Sonic and get an interior clean and send him the bill. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY DO NOT USE. Do not ever use them. The man who picked my car up was swearing and mad because my car was completely dead. Then he put the jumper cables to try to jump so it could go into neutral. When he tried to jump the battery it kept smoking and sparking. After 3 attempts I told him to stop before he messes something up. He then says looks like you're fucking getting the boots/shoes for fucking free. Then Allstate calls him to see how things are going and if he arrives and he hung up on them. Once my car arrived at the mechanics, my mechanic was telling him where to put the car and the tow truck guy was yelling and swearing at him as well. Then when the car was of his truck he said great no fucking tip. No I am not tipping you. Why should I. I called Schoemanns Road Service to speak with a manager and when he got on the phone I told him what happened and he hung up on me. I called him back and said did you just hang up on me he said it was my fault it got disconnected. So I told him I was unhappy and that I should have not have got treated like that. He could have cared less. Horrible business. Well I filed a formal complaint with Allstate against them and they said they will never use them again for any future tows. So they just lost some business. No one should be treated like that. I came to them for help and it was an inconvenience to them. read more
