Once again FBT saved my patootie. Thanks, guys!! I was on my way home from Ellicottville with a friend and decided to stop for some food before I dropped them off at home. We were sitting at the red light and all of a sudden the engine died. It was just like before, when I had another friend with me. Put-put pluh! Nothing. So I called my classic-car insurance company and used my roadside assistance benefit for the third time FBT came and got me - again - and saved my booty - AGAIN! Aaaaah, the joys of owning a classic car. I highly recommend FBT. They always come fast and they're always courteous and professional. Good job, guys read more

This is now the second separate occasion where the estimated wait time was almost 2 hours and Frank Brown Towing were no shows both times. Had another company pick me up and I told them Frank Brown Towing never showed up and they said "not surprised" If you see this tow company is assigned to you, save your time and request to be re-assigned to someone else. read more

If you want to know what is scheme this shop will define in perfect. My car was towed not even 24 hours and came to pick up with police release form they charge $190 for towed , $80 for winch out for no reason it was on road and tow driver did not neutral it. And cleaning fluid for no reason that fluid was all empty on road and they charge cleaning for another $100.they added all charge only because we denied to fix our car in their workshop. Glad i towed my car back to my trusted mechanic paying $90 with cheap buffalo towed company. read more

Truly a place that I hope I never have to see again in my life! The staff here is a piece of work and if you can avoid them I gladly would. For starters, my car was towed on 12/21/22 while I was out of town on vacation. Let me be the first to say my car was wrongfully towed (but whatever not their issue) I called Frank Brown's Towing on the evening of 1/1/22 inquiring about the tow. The customer service agent who answered the phone was ridiculously rude and belligerent. He repeatedly yelled called back Monday after 8 am after each question I asked! I truly don't understand what I did or could have said that deserve that. Matter of fact I stand corrected NO ONE deserves to be spoken to or disrespected in that manner. After that useless phone call, I discovered that they do not do any vehicle pick-ups over the weekend. Okay, so it's now Monday morning. I arrive at Frank Brown's towing at 8:03 am right as they are opening. I come in bright and early ready to get my vehicle and ready to go to work. Little did I know the hell that Dave would put me through this morning. He tells me the total which is astronomically priced at $630.75 I instantly try to pull out my checkbook to write a check. He then informs me that they do not accept checks only cash or credit/debit cards. Okay fine, I sit down and attempt to make a wire transfer! I get my debit card out and head back up to the window. I ask for a written breakdown of the cost and the information of the person who did the tow. Dave walks up to the window and says you're being more than unreasonable and because of that cash only. You are the type of person who's going to do nothing but dispute the charge. ( This white man telling me a Black man this undoubtedly has a racial undertone. ) I was nothing but polite and nice to the teller. They never asked me for a driver's license. They didn't even as much as ask me my name or anything to prove that I was the owner of this vehicle. They made me walk nearly a mile if not more to find an ATM. They were rude disrespectful and belittling. I called the police to mediate this and they pushed it off as a civil and of course, they did nothing. These people are extremely MORALLY CORRUPT! I am more than 1,000 miles away from any family or friends and had to deal with the humiliation of this company. No one deserves that at all. Stay away if you can. FBT truly deserves less. read more

This company has no concept of time or open communication. Maybe it was a fluke that there was so much incompetency today with ETAs and communicating with me, but I hope the next person doesn't get their time wasted the way I had mine wasted today. When an ETA of 90 minutes turns into 150 minutes, someone needs to get back to basic math and better customer service. read more

very efficient, professional and thorough. I missed a driveway and landed in a ditch. Called Ford Roadside service and Frank a Brown towing answered the call. He arrived withim 10 minues. He informed me what needed to be done and did a fantastic job! Frank Brown came to my aid an is TOPS in my opinion!!! read more

The Ford emergency road service hotline assigned my call to Frank Brown Towing. I was okay with the initial 75 minute wait time for a tow. After a half hour past the ETA they posted an additional 45 minute wait. Another half hour beyond the ETA had passed when then they posted 45 more minutes. I waited that through and crickets. I gave up and called for another towing company. I'm not sure which is more embarrassing, the companies inability, or the fact that I stood around in a parking lot just shy of three hours waiting before canceling and calling someone else. This was way beyond bad. read more

This is my first review with one star. Here's why: They didn't follow my directions and towed my car to the wrong spot. I patiently explained the correct spot over the course of 2 1/2 days and 4 phone calls during which they promised to move it, then lied about having moved it, then promised again to move it. Today, day 3, on my fifth phone call, I identified myself and, with great effort to remain reasonable, said, 'The car was not moved. Can you explain why you said it had been moved?' Without a single word, they hung up on me! You DO NOT want to use this company. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. They are the contracted towing company for town of Kenmore police department. My son rear-ended someone at a stop light so they towed the car. my husband was more worried at accident about our son, but did ask police officer if we would be charged as we didn't have full coverage as it was a 19 year old vehicle. The officer said no and not to worry And that he couldn't let us drive it because airbags deployed. Franks towed car on a Saturday and person who towed car told my husband not to worry about it till Monday. Finally spoke with insurance adjuster and called Wednesday to figure out what we needed to do with the car. When I get to Franks I have an $810 towing and storage bill, they said that usually insurance pays all the different fees and that they don't have an out of pocket adjustment. They charged me 40/day storage for 5 days( even though they are closed in weekend), $100 for cleaning bed of tow truck after towing my car, 75/hr for labor, 75 for winch out, 185.00 for tow ( maybe 2-3 miles), accident clean-up 65.00 ( they didn't do any clean up), accident hazmat 100.00 ( again nothing done here), DMV VIN verification for 20, and a certified letter telling me my car was at their shop 20.00. Grand Rip off of 810.19. I would never recommend them, I actually drove car, 1.5 miles to my shop which went above and beyond to be helpful, told me what to watch for while driving, and just super understanding about how stressful the situation is. Shame on Franks and Kenmore police for making us tow it and not informing us when we asked about fees. read more

I locked my keys in my 2018 Toyota Camry and contacted my insurance company to send someone. Turns out my car had an anti-theft function that locks the car up when you are "breaking in" and no buttons work, even the trunk button. So when I had numerous people come trying to open the "door" I felt very frustrated and hopeless. Nevertheless, my final attempt was a tow to my dealership. When Wayne came he found the perfect solution by thinking quick and YouTubing a solution to turn off this anti-theft function and was able to work with the tools he had. He was very nice, polite and extremely smart!!! I'm so very thankful for him and this company! read more

I've been a customer of FBT twice: Once for roadside service, and again after those a**holes at the Town of Tonawanda Police Department ordered my car impounded after assaulting me for no reason (-100 stars for TTPD). During both instances, everyone at FBT was courteous and professional. The price they charged for the roadside assist was reasonable, and I can't comment on the tow/impound fees since FBT isn't responsible for those prices (again, f**k TTPD). I hope I don't need a tow or roadside in the future, but if I do, this will be the company I call first. read more

Great staff and I can't thank them enough! They saved me 310 dollars.... want to know how? Be being honest! I was previous told by Dunn Tire that I needed new break to pass inspection. Took my car here since it's close to my place. I received a call not 40 minutes after dropping my car off saying they won't change the breaks because I don't need them.
