His dad an i KNEW it will be a disaster because he's never slept anywhere other than in his crib and we made the childcare staff aware of this. This daycare has video surveillance. My husband and I were glued to the camera during lunch and into nap hour. We watched my son repeatedly leaving his cot and being put back. At one point an ECE grabbed him and flopped him onto his cot, pushed him down (pushed his chest and torso down) and then pinned/held him there while he was kicking and screaming. This went on for around 2 minutes (we were later told by investigators who watched the video). I emailed the owner (Angie) and requested a conversation. Amanda wrote me back told me they can't talk and to email them. I wrote them a stern email asking for an explanation of under what circumstance is it ok to push and pin a child down on his first day of daycare to force him to stay laying down. They told me they will investigate the footage and call me in the morning. I never got this call. I followed up with another email requesting a call. I finally got a call in the afternoon and Angie minimized my concern citing that this "ECE has worked there for a year and never had any issues and that she was only holding him down for "literally seconds"" - this is not true. We went on talking and I kept listing other issues we've experienced in just a few short days (daycare staff lying when we saw the truth on video, being generally rough with kids (yanking them by the arm, wtc...) they haven't taken the kids outside all week, no covid protocol, etc...). I got no apology until I deliberately asked for one. Pitiful. I have this entire conversation recorded for anyone who wishes to hear it. In the end I yanked my child out, demanded a refund and they are currently under investigation with the ministry of Ontario and children's aid surfaces.

Where do I begin on how amazing Zoe's Tender Years is?…read more Zoe's Tender Years employs staff that are incredibly kind, generous, loving and genuinely invested in each and every child. The environment is positive, warm and overall such a healthy place for a child to learn and grow. The communication I had as a first time parent leaving my little one was phenomenal. The daycare director (Stephanie) never made me feel like I was a bother even though I know my insane calling and e-mailing must've driven her up the walls. The ECE workers are all fantastic, have such wonderful, inviting personalities and they are always engaged with the children. The activities the daycare arranges "Pajama Day", "Super Hero Day", and other themed days is such a fun, exciting way to get everyone (regardless of age) involved. You can tell their in-house chef cooks with love and my goodness, does it ever smell amazing?! Rest assured that your child will be fed great tasting, nutritious food that may put your own cooking to shame! When selecting this daycare, I chose it because of the cameras and access to see my son. I was so at peace with the care that my son was receiving that eventually I stopped watching his every move and knew he was in safe hands. Due to career relocation, I sadly had to take my son out and trust me when I tell you this, the daycare he is at now (which shall remain unnamed) doesn't even come remotely close to the standards that Zoe's has set. The bar is set high and it's no surprise that Zoe's was voted best daycare in Vaughan 4 years in a row. Please do yourself a favour and place your child at Zoe's Tender Years. You won't regret the decision and your child will be in the very best hands!

Don't send your kids here, there are plenty of other better options. Here's a few reasons why:…read more 1. The "teachers" are very poor and barely seem to even watch the children. Countless times when I came to pick my child up they'd be sitting on radiator vent or desk or chair just chatting away while kids ran around yelling and screaming with next to no order. Other times the kids would be sitting around watching an iPad while the teachers chatted away in the corner. 2. My son often mentioned that one of his teachers yelled at him and other children. 3. My son would constantly come home with cuts and bruises that the teachers would have no explanation for. In one instance, I came to pick him up and his finger was bleeding. I showed it to the teacher and she said she didn't see it and he never said anything. How can you not notice a kid is bleeding when it's supposed to be 1 teacher to every 4 kids? 4. On another occasion, on a cold winter day, I picked my son up and his gloves, jacket and pants were covered in dirt. I asked him what happened and he told me another child threw dirt on him. I asked the teacher about it and she told me she didn't see it happen, but did see my son playing in the dirt with the child. My son was 3 at the time, so I grant that his explanation may not have been accurate, but here the teacher is telling me that she does nothing as two kids cover themselves in dirt, and doesn't bother to change their clothes afterward. For the entire year my child was here he was miserable at every drop off and beyond relief at every pick up. Other kids who were there during this time behaved the same. My son absolutely hated going to school. Now that we've changed to a different daycare, he runs into his class, has made dozens of new friends, and is able to write letters, count to one hundred, knows all the continents, and can say quite a few things in French.

We have enrolled them to Lullaboo since they were one year old, starting from infant room, then Toddler room and all the way to Pre-school and Before/After school program. We have had a chance to get to know most of their staff over the past 4 years :) Staff are very friendly, caring and courteous. The centre is kept very clean. Their chef is a nice lady who prepares fresh meal on a daily basis for all the rooms with extra caution for those who have food restrictions. They provide fresh & nutritious food and fruits. The centre opens early at 7 and closes late at 6.30pm which is great. My kids have learned a lot of stuff in Lullaboo childcare and we have enjoyed seeing them that every day they learn something new. They have shown interest in watching French cartoons (because of French class in Lullaboo) and they sing different rhymes every now and then both in English and French. We get the daily report and know what has happened on a daily basis, what our sons have eaten, learned, etc. the only downside of the report is that the font is very small for checking emails from a computer, but it is ideal for checking by mobile. Overall, We are very happy about our choice to enrol our sons in Lullaboo Maple and I highly recommend them to everyone. I'd also like to thank and appreciate all the staff because of their hard work.

We believe that all children have the right to quality care and education in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment. Lullaboo’s environment facilitates learning opportunities while supporting social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of children. Our philosophy is based on child development principles, centering on the concept of interaction and exploration during play as a natural way of learning. This also encourages children to become responsible, productive, problem solving individuals, capable of independence and self-regulation.
