The phone system needs to be repaired or replaced due to if you call they can't hear you and you can't really hear them also. The reason I know they don't work is I called them after I was overcharged. It was not a lot it was for 6.00 dollars but that is not the point. I had a really difficult time trying to work out the issue with the man on the phone and after he understood what happened he said " I can't do anything for you I just work here". The person on the phone then gave me the owners number, I called and left a message with no response. I called back a couple hours later and left a voicemail still no response. Again it's not the money amount, it's being passed off or ignored that bothers me the most. I will not say don't go there because I think you really need to see this place and all the amazing items. They need to make the phones work, one it's not safe if somebody got hurt and had to call medical attention the land line is useless. If they have a cellphone that works there then this situation should have never happened.

And we LOVE Hixton! I've been to Miller's several times over the years, and during my recent trip I finally concluded that my time and my money are much better spent on the other side of the freeway! I particularly like the old schoolhouse antiques...way bigger selection and way better prices and way nicer people. Miller's has some interesting stuff. But the prices are really ridiculous. You're going to pay double or triple (or more) over what you'd pay for the exact same item at another antique store or what you'd pay for the same thing on Ebay. (And that includes shipping!) Whenever I've run across the owner, I feel like I've just talked to a used car salesman and that I should run somewhere and immediately take a shower and disinfect myself. Yuck! However, I received a welcomed text stating that the repairs would cost "roughly" $185, which made my decision to have the mower repaired. I felt a little differently about my decision after I paid "roughly" $80 over the estimate which included a 4% charge for using a credit card (I never carry that much cash even on vacation) and no senior or Veterans discount. If my mower breaks down in the future it would be a tough decision to bring it back to Woods, not for the quality repairs but the cost.

Today we had a weird mix up where the name of the recipient auto-filled to our default, which is OUR home address, not my MIL. Very fortunately, Osseo is a lovely, small town where few folks are strangers. Still, Heather went above and beyond to make sure the flowers arrived at the right place to the right person.
