You can come in from the heat! You're never thirsty nor will you go hungry! There's even a little train, a tram, and a Skylift too. It takes you above the zoo, so there's plenty of ways to get around! So when they re-modeled the Omaha Henry Dooley Zoo, Somebody was thinking, because they made it very comfortable for everyone! Their exhibits are beautiful, the animals look well cared for. That's the most important!! As they have set up the exhibit so there's lots of learning that goes on there, and that's so important for the school-age children as well as the adults. They even have interactive exhibits, where you can interact and even touch some of the animals. I think the stingrays are the big draw! It was definitely a great adventure. The food choices are delightful and different. The gift shop is a blast. My husband bought me this huge red octopus as our souvenir. The older kids had gone their way, and we went ours. Our's turned out to be kind of romantic strolling the park. The (Zoo). We just heard that we there a day early for a stroll because on Thursdays in the summer, they have the zoo hours for the evening for just adults, that must be pretty nice too. We did I see many families with younger ones having a good time too. They have carousels, and treats for little ones. I would have to say in all the day was fantastic. The aquarium is also superb, we had a wonderful time. We spent all day here and could have spent another 1-2 days as there is so much to do and see.
