My first experience involved the booking of a cleaning when the hygienist was on maternity leave. I sat and waited for my appointment only to be informed of this by the dentist. When I told the dentist I was unaware and mainly booked the appointment for this reason she spoke with the office manager who lied to my face saying she did. I let out go because mistakes happen and just rebooked for a cleaning. My next experience was for a cleaning and a filling. After leaving the office I was flossing maybe 2 days after the appointment and I noticed a hole still in my tooth for the same area that was to be serviced for my filling. I called back and was given no apologies. Fast forward to today and I just had the same office manager yelling in the phone with myself and my health insurance in a very unprofessional way. She was telling me and the insurance that we were lying and is denying refunding my money. So not only has this affected me financially but I still have a cavity in my front tooth. I am livid! I never right reviews but I took the time to write this one. I will also be filling a grievance with my insurance company as well as the better business bureau. DentaLux is done getting chances from me. You just lost a potential customer for life.

The office staff was beyond receptive of not only a new patient, but who needed a same day visit for a broken front tooth. (It was essentially gone and he had a nice gaping hole on the bottom of his mouth) Dr Milan and his staff worked wonderfully with us, adjusting their schedule and communicating extremely well with my husbands periodontist. Within a few days my husband was able to have a temporary replacement flipper until his implant is complete. The office should have been closed but Dr Millan called the day the flipper came in to let me know he was still in the office and my husband could come over and make sure it fit (it fit perfectly). Had he not made that phone call my husband would have had to wait the weekend. Kudos for your professionalism and compassion! We also just switched my 10 year old son over to Dr Millan as well. He has, to say the least, white coat syndrome and is typically pretty anxious at any appointment. My husband took him over and raved about how great everyone was with him. My son came home showing off his squeaky clean smile and new motivation to brush twice a day instead of the 36 reminders he needs every morning just to get them brushed once!!! Our family is highly recommending Dr Millan his hygienist and wonderful office staff!

It took me a few days to get over the trauma that Dr. Kirkwood put me through to extract those 2 teeth. I feel that he is some kind of a sadist, putting me through the pain that I felt from the needles he injected me with, without anesthetizing the area where the injections were going. As I was screaming from the horrible pain, all I was told that it would be over in a matter of minutes. I think he enjoyed hearing my horrible screams. It was quite barbaric. Making an appointment was easy, and it didn't hurt when I got it pulled. However, fast forward to today, my primary dentist found in my X-rays that the whole tooth wasn't taken out, and I have been in pain since. I will now need to get surgery to get the rest out.
