Edited 3/10/26: I got an email from Yelp saying someone made a complaint about my review but they will not remove it. Thank you Yelp for standing up for honesty and transparency :) I have still not received any words from the office themselves about this incident since Torrey hung up on me on the phone while I was answering a question she asked. Made an official complaint with the Board of Chiropractors about the chiropractor I reported to Torrey and I also will be sharing Torrey's behavior about the report as my mom is another patient of hers and that is extremely inappropriate for her to bring my mom into the conversation. Also, from how frustrated she sounded about making a report and kept defending this chiropractor that was sexually inappropriate with me, I was worried she would not report it herself. I have proof of the misconduct that I will be sharing with the Board. It's tragic it came to this. If Torrey had offered to keep us from having any contact where I can go to the office and be able to avoid seeing or talking to him, that would have been amazing because then I wouldn't have been scared to continue receiving care. But instead she got defensive, was only concerned about her business, and immediately got inappropriate with me when I started crying on the phone and couldn't stop when the chiropractor I had seen for over 10 years was defending the other chiropractor and not offering any solutions for me. I didn't say I was going to sue them or anything, but her reaction to me was like I was threatening to sue or something. Which I wasn't in any capacity. She said "what do you want me to do?" about the situation, and I said "I don't know, I just want to be able to attend treatment without feeling scared." I have previous sexual assault trauma, which I have discussed with them. This situation has been very negative to my health. I shouldn't have to defend myself against my first ever complaint, especially when I had only started seeing this other chiropractor in the office for not even 2 months before this situation became what it was. And I have been at this office since before Torrey took it over, so like over 13 years. It's just mind boggling her response. So women, please don't be afraid to stand up for yourself when you are wronged. And please be careful. read more

I used to see another chiropractor who I thought was amazing but his office hours became very limited and it just didn't workout with my schedule so I was talking to a co-worker who referred me to Dr. Brazil. I started coming here back in Aug 2023. Initially made an inquiry to request a schedule with Dr. Brazil I received a callback and they were very flexible with the form of communication. I was able to text them for scheduling and all my questions were also promptly answered. They get pretty busy so scheduling can be a bit limited but do able. They also accept certain insurances and they provided a detailed explanation of my benefits, billing, deductible etc... if you don't have insurance they will give you the cost of your oop expense. My first appointment, I was given an iPad which asked an abundance of questions about my past/present health, medical conditions and problem areas. I was called in shortly after. Dr. Brazil went over my documents and talked about my problems areas, she made some adjustments and really focused on the areas I complained about the most. She gave recommendations on how to stretch my problems areas out and also sent me some exercising tips. She was so easy to talk to and very down to earth. After each adjustment I felt great and my problem areas slowly improved. Didn't have any issues again until recently since being pregnant again everything just hurts and I'm just so uncomfortable and in pain so I decided to make another appointment. I was sad to hear she had left to take over another practice out of town. I was reading through the list of providers and I saw that Dr. Torrey Schroeder specializes in maternity so I had asked if she was taking new patients and if I could schedule with her. I was told they would get back to me and provided me with other doctors who were available with the soonest time. But I told them I would wait for Dr. Torrey Schroeder's response. Almost a month after my inquiry I received a call that she has an opening and it was a first call first served so I immediately jumped on that opportunity. The day of my appointment checked in per usual. She called me back and we went over my medical history and current area problems. She explained everything she was going to do and walked me through it. She was really sweet and was able to help me elevate the pain on my neck, shoulders and back. I felt like a new person. I was also able to schedule an appointment every 2-3 until my expected delivery date which was amazing and just takes the stress off of having to wait to see if she has a last minute opening. This was my first time at this place. Since I was a new patient, I called ahead and made an appointment, and then texted them my insurance information. Once I was at the office I came in 15 minutes early to fill out a form on the iPad to check in which I asked various questions about what I needed and what I did for work etc. etc. I met with Dr. Nick Borovski and he went through my information and asked a few questions. Then he assessed by back and shoulders, the parts that were bothering me. Then he did the usual chiropractic adjustments while I was facing down on the bench. He cracked a few spots and instantly I felt pretty loose. He pinpointed the areas where I needed the adjustments and explained where and why he did so. He also had me walk around the table to see how the adjustment went and I could feel already that I was loosey-goosey. Dr. Nick was full of information and has a lot to say really quickly as he is a very fast talker not sure if it's because he had coffee or if he is just that way. It was a lot to take in as far as information but I was able to follow along. He then did an explanation of what I needed to do which was to do an ice pack for 15 minutes on certain parts of my back then rest for an hour after that. Then do 2 to 4 cups of Epson salt in a hot bath. He says he's soaks in that for an hour. I asked him about working out and he said to do it after a chiropractic session. If you do it before hand I would be more tight. I made an appointment for the following week to see how my progresses on my neck any. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Brazil who is absolutely amazing. I started seeing her because of issues in my back and now she is the only chiropractor that I trust to adjust me. She always explains what she is doing and why my body is hurting the way that it is. She's always so helpful and even provides stretches to do between sessions that have helped tremendously. She has suggested using laser two times since seeing her and both helped my recovering a ton. I went in when I jammed or possibly broken toe. I was in so much pain I could barely walk but the laser made the pain disappear in the next day! The inflammation and swelling went down so much after using the laser on my toe. It has also been used on my neck when I was so tense nothing was helping. It helped me be able to move my head around again! My sessions with Dr. Nick have been life-changing. After breaking my Sacrum 21 years ago, daily pain has been my way of experiencing life. I visited the center for the first time yesterday. The office staff was helpful and professional. My insurance and personal information was all completed online so before I arrived I knew exactly what coverage would be provided and was immediately ready to be seen. A truly unique medical experience for me. The problem is with the care I received. I went in for lower back pain caused by two bulging discs. I told the provider up front that I didn't have any cartilage left in my right shoulder. Zero. As a result of the procedure, my right shoulder was so inflamed and painful last night that I was unable to use lift my right hand to shampoo in the shower. I am so happy to have found this place. I have been seeing Dr. Torrey and Dr. Brock for the last year at least once a week due to some issues that are caused by my fibromyalgia and I intend to see them until I move out of state next year. They are both exceptional medical professionals that genuinely care for their patients. They aren't in this profession for the money, they're in it to help people that are in pain get back to normal. Dr. Torrey is always more than happy to work stuff out with you so that you can be feeling better in no time. Both doctors are kind and knowledgeable about their profession. They also keep up to date with the latest techniques and treatments to make sure they are giving their patients the best care possible. Both doctors are skilled with working with people of all ages and sizes, including children and pregnant women. They also work well with athletes. The office is very kid-friendly, there are toys in the waiting room and the office staff are very accommodating (within reason). So overall, if you need a chiropractor I recommend you check this place out. I have been to a lot of doctors with little success but this office has helped me get significantly better. Dr. Brock and Dr. Torrey have similar but different adjustment styles, so if one isn't to your liking I recommend getting an appointment with the other before you give up. He discussed my problem and suggested a plan. He told me the goal was first relieving my pain, followed by a program to strengthen my muscles and have a tuneup as needed. I've been seeing Dr. Torrey for around 5 months now. I was in search of a female Chiropractor and I am so thankful I found her. She is so nice and very easy to talk to. She is very personable and has a genuine warm energy! Before my first visit I had been having really bad pain in my back. I had delivered my baby boy several months earlier. Between pregnancy, going through back labor, receiving an epidural, breastfeeding, and carrying around a baby all day and night, my back felt TERRIBLE. After my first visit with Dr. Torrey, I felt a tremendous amount of relief and now I feel a complete difference. My back hardly ever bothers me and I feel great! She gives great advice on how to properly support my back in certain situations. She also provides great recommendation on exercises to do at home. She is very prompt and professional. Called to make an appointment as a first time patient due to lower back pain and was scheduled to see Dr. Nick Borovsky. After talking with him about my discomfort he conducted a touch diagnosis only, no x-Rays or ultrasound. He then attempted a pretty aggressive adjustment which resulted in new pain in my glute/hip area the next day. During my annual check up with my PCP the following week the pain had intensified significantly. An x-ray and straight leg test indicated that Dr. Nick caused a strain/pull to my Gluteus Medius during the adjustment which has a 4-6 week to healing time. The original back pain I went in for has finally subsided, but a month later I'm still on pain meds due to the excruciating pain from the pulled glute muscle. Please ask questions when visiting any chiropractor to avoid similar issues. read more

After finding this place they were able to schedule me in the next day! I was very happy with that because when you have an issue, you want it fixed same day or next. They are in-network with Aetna! But overall my basic appointment, I did not get x-ray because my issue didn't call for it. They do head to toe treatment for the price of $65. I met Dr.Brock, who explained the process of the treatment before doing it. I appreciate this a lot because I just like to stay inform. Even if I don't know how it all works because I'm not very knowledgeable in the medical field. Just knowing the basic concept puts my mind at eases. Dr Brock is great! All the adjustments make me feel superb. This was the first time I've ever been to a chiropractor and he made me feel comfortable and addressed all my concerns. No fault of his but there are some improper billing issues with my claims. I've sent over the information given by the insurance company to their office. Since my old chiropractor retired at the start of the pandemic I was in pain. I took a chance on this place and I am great. I was paired up with Dr Nick and he has been great. My shoulder was the main issue and for the past 3 months. He has been knocking it out and my should now feels better than ever. I've received great care from Schroeder Chiropractic Care! Dr. Mary Brazil is amazing! While she was out on maternity leave, Dr. Nicholas Borovsky aka Dr. Nick performed miracles on my back! I injured my back in the military and re-injured it moving a patient at work. Dr. Nick listened to my concerns, obtained a thorough history and what worked to reduce the pain, and then implemented a holistic approach to my care. When I limped through the door to his office on a cane, I had VERY little hope of stability and recovery; even to the point I was considering surgical intervention! Over my time working with Dr. Nick, I've had AMAZING results! I'm walking, running, biking, doing housework/chores! I used to be 8/10 on a pain scale; today, I maintain 2/10 or less for pain. Some days in pain free! Mobility is improved and my autonomy is restored. The Fresno VA referred me to Dr. Torrey and today was my first adjustment. The check in process felt lengthy, but that's a given considering they had to get all my information. The Marine Corps did a lot of wear and tear on my body and it showed. During the adjustments Dr. Torrey would explain to me why i felt the way I did and how some things had a domino type effect on other joints in my body. I don't feel 100% yet, but I definitely felt better once I had gotten done with my appointment. I look forward to the future appointments and finally getting my body the care it needs. read more

Came here for a few sessions, hard to recommend for anyone with serious chronic issues. If the chiropractor I saw was the standard than I highly suggest trying elsewhere. The staff are friendly I agree, problem was the treatment and thought process behind their attempt to help wih you issues. I did the whole questionnaire at sign up taking roughly 25 minutes if your actually trying to answer the questions and I still don't know why they needed so much personal information when it was never really used as a way of treatment. They still had to ask where I hurt and why, if it still hurts, and what I want to happen at the treatment, meaning what goal was in my mind? I mean it sounds very professional until you get the treatment because it's really really slow, I thought the first session would be the appetizer and follow ups will be more personalized for the treatments but all the sessions were practically the same except the last treatment because I tried the laser heat treatment which was so underwhelming and felt like such a waste of time. It took 5-10 minutes to adjust the heat properly because they wouldn't take a hint that I could use more heat. I kept nudging and they should understand the instructions they gave me, if it's too hot, let me know. It will gradually go higher. I didn't say much the first 10 minutes except that it's warm NOT Hot. Finally the last 5 minutes they got the hint and that was practically it. Go get a deep massage at a specialist instead, for the price this has been a pretty absurd experience. Try asking for the head chiropractor instead, maybe I was just unlucky. They didn't seem to want to sweat when doing anything, the treatment was so weak in attempt and variation, only thing well done was the neck crack. read more
