Its hygienist is perhaps the saving grace here. And even that wasn't perfect with reference made to the inability to do a cleaning if certain conditions weren't met and was even "against the law." First time I've run into that scenario in more than 50 years. I am glad others have had better experiences. I sure didn't. I hope mine was a one-off. I would NOT recommend this office unless you are a perfect specimen with nothing wrong with your dental health and you have deep pockets with readily available cash flow. Otherwise, don't waste your time or theirs.

Dr Smaltz had an emergency message on the phone line indicating that his current patients could text him a message in case of emergency. I wrote him a note explaining my situation. It was obvious in his communique that he understood the fact that I didn't have a dentist and I was in dire need of seeing one. I was able to make an emergency appointment for the following day. I felt so fortunate to be able to see him so quickly. When I met the staff and saw the doctor, I couldn't have wished for anything better! Everyone was so nice and extremely competent!! I am always so concerned about cleanliness, and the office was super hygiene! I didn't have to worry at all! I have a clear picture of the road ahead. And I know how much it will cost! This dentist is the best! I am going back to see him to continue my care. They treat you with kindness and understanding in a professional manner. Dr. Robert's is excellent. My crown caused me no pain. Dr. Robert's has a machine in office to make your crown on site while you wait. No need for a temporary. They use cutting edge technology. Finding a great Dentist is often difficult. I originally came to Newnan Dentistry because I was experiencing pain in one tooth. They treated that tooth, but I was then told that I needed treatment on approximately 10 other teeth. Since then, nearly every tooth they worked on has caused me pain. More than a year later, I am still dealing with tooth pain every single day. After spending over $15,000 here trying to address these issues, I simply cannot afford to continue paying for treatment elsewhere to correct the problems. I eventually went to another dental office for a consultation and was told that there were concerns with the dental work I had received, particularly my most recent root canal. I was also advised by Newnan Dentistry to have my wisdom teeth removed in hopes that it would resolve my pain. I had them removed, yet the pain continued. I now deal with constant tooth pain in my ENTIRE mouth and frequent headaches. While I will say that the customer service here has always been amazing, my experience with the actual dental treatment has been completely different. I genuinely feel as though I was used as a guinea pig for months while trying to figure out why I continued to hurt. I trusted this office with my dental care and spent thousands of dollars trying to get out of pain, only to still be suffering more than a year later. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Newnan Dentistry. This experience has caused me an incredible amount of pain, stress, and suffering that I continue to deal with every single day.

Last visit the fall leaves were falling like snow and it was very relaxing. They use all the latest equipment and methods and I am finally happy with the cleanings I am getting! I had previously visited a long established practice in Newnan and the hygienists always RUSHED through my cleanings and my teeth never felt truly clean. I have to give a shout out to Penny H, who does a very thorough job and is pleasant to visit. Dr Burke is VERY gentle administering novocaine, which is important to me. Office staff and dentist were extremely friendly on a face-to-face basis; however, every visit felt like an upsell of a procedure and every single visit ended up with a billing irregularity. On our last visit, which was simply for annual x-ray and cleaning we were billed extra. When I called both the office and our insurance company the bill was coded as that I received extra x-rays. Since I was having no problems and no cavities, it appears that they added extra x-rays to the billing that I did not receive, and my insurance applied it to my co-pay. When I called to try to straighten it out, the front desk staff admitted that I had extra x-rays and cannot explain why. She tried to blame it on insurance.
