The kicker was when she suggested we limit his milk intake, which she mentioned we had talked about during his first visit. I said that the nurse said they tested for it during this visit and it was negative. I asked if it would help anything. She chuckled and said, "No, but do it if it makes you feel better." I'm appalled at this flippancy and lack of professionalism, and knowledge on Dr. Strub's part. It's as if she wasn't even trying to be helpful. We certainly won't be going back.

Worse, he gave her Remdesivir, which harmed her kidneys, leading to stage 5 kidney failure and requiring dialysis. She was stage 2-3 and she was denied Ivermectin for political reasons. This impacts my life, as I care for my elderly mother three times a week. He failed us. I will never forgive him for permanently injuring my mother and impacting my life as well.

I had been bitten by a tick and had all of the classic symptoms. My Doctor, Irene Teper told me I didn't have Lyme unless I had been back east. She wouldn't test me but said she would give me a referral to Dr. Tolliver, an infectious disease specialist. Dr. Tolliver has terrible bedside manner and seemed unconcerned with my symptoms, making me feel like a hypochondriac. Upon my second visit to go over my test results, he told me there was nothing wrong with me and to "have a nice life". He never asked if the symptoms continued or other possibilities. Due to the length of time that passed the disease took over and my health continued to decline. Luckily I found an amazingly doctor in SF who tested me and found I do have Lyme disease and 3 co-infections. I saw the test results myself. If Dr. Tolliver or Dr. Teper had treated me sooner I wouldn't still be battling the disease today. Shame on them both.

I can't say enough good things about the care I receive here. Carol and Noel are very skilled nurses that are sensitive to concerns and knowledgable about all things skin related. The whole office is very trustworthy. I moved to the peninsula years ago and still make the 1 1/2 drive to see them. They don't only handle aesthetics. I have brought my husband in for mole removal and my 4 year old son for wart removal on his foot. The quality of care provided here is rare. I can't recommend this place more. She was kind, patient, and made the experience as comfortable as possible for both us and our son. Like many busy specialty practices, it sometimes took a little persistence to reach someone by phone, but we were able to communicate through the patient portal when needed, and that worked well for scheduling. Overall, we're grateful that our pediatrician referred us here. The quick access to care, knowledgeable providers, and caring staff gave us the information and reassurance we needed during a stressful time. After our daughter had some initial food reactions to a couple high allergen foods, as first time…read moreparents we were a little overly cautious and asked for a referral for allergy testing. Our doctor is through Providence and they referred us to latitude food allergy care which is somehow also through UCSF. Getting the initial appointment was not that hard. It was a video visit with the doctor who went through our history and given that our baby was less than 8 months at the time, it wasn't a very extensive history. The doctor was very dismissive about a lot of things even though we had done our research and were following a lot of the allergy guidelines which was difficult to hear as parents. She was pretty convinced it was a certain thing and that we would have to go a certain direction ( and ultimately she was wrong on both accounta),so we got scheduled for the allergy tests. We were told that we would have the skin test, and they told us it would be a scratch test but this is really misleading. They really do puncture the skin and it was a lot more intensive than what I remember allergy testing that I had not that long ago was. The lady who did the actual hands on skin test was lovely and very kind and we really enjoyed her, but other than that, the entire experience from start to finish was lackluster at best. Trying to get people on the phone is absolutely impossible unless you're trying to get your initial appointment. I understand that it is a chain and that they have locations all over the place so they have to streamline their call centers, but if you really need to get a hold of somebody they'd never call you back. I needed to change our follow-up appointment after the skin test because of naps schedules and I left multiple messages for them and nobody ever called me back. I ended up sending them a message through the portal and canceling it via text. The appointments are very expensive even though they're in network and I didn't feel like at the end of the day they told me anything I didn't already know. I ended up canceling my follow-up appointment with them because the experience was so terrible. The only positive is that they were able to get us in quickly so if she really did have some life-threatening allergy, we would have found out early but because she didn't, the whole situation ended up being sort of unnecessary. Other folks that I know had to go there as well and they had very similar experiences so it wasn't just us and our young baby. I wonder if it's always like this or if because they are the only place to go that they can get away with this kind of customer service/ patient care. Glad I don't have to go back!

All this to say that the office is incredibly hard to find and parking at the building is sparse and most spots are painted for another building next door or individuals who work is special office. Feels like Marin for sure. This office appears affiliated with latitude food allergy testing. I was referred to them and had an online visit where they dismissed me and told me I needed a full service allergy clinic. Which is what it seems like you get if you're referred to both as I was. It will be interesting to see how this goes.

Allergies and…read moreinfections can be misdiagnosed or ignored, with dire consequences and suffering if not treated early and accurately. I had a mystery pain that doctors could not figure out. Dr. Fast is smart and kind. She listened to my story for 5 min and was able to rapid-fire triage and provide a rare infection as a possible root cause. She proposed a simple test -- taking ibuprofen -- to confirm or rule out the infection. Imagine that -- instead of making me go get an elaborate, inconvenient, and time-consuming blood draw at a blood lab to confirm or rule out the cause, Dr. Fast gave me a free, self-administered test: take ibuprofen during a pain episode, if I don't have pain, it's the infection, if I still have pain, it might be something else. She is a genius with a big brain and a giant heart. For the Yelpers who didn't have the same experience, well, maybe they just don't understand competence and compassion when they experience it? I had to meet a lot of doctors in my mystery pain journey. Honestly, Dr. Fast is the best. She's a great communicator and one of those Harvard University/Yale Medical School/Stanford Medical School experts that could be talking on TV. In spite of the fact Dr. Fast could brag about going to Hahvahd, she keeps her impressive credentials to herself, is down-to-earth, is a great communicator with excellent bedside manner for all age groups and walks-of-life, including kids, seniors, young and middle-aged adults. Please google Dr. Katharine Fast and be blown away that the Internet agrees with me that she's the best allergy and immunology specialist in San Francisco and the Bay Area. You should book an appointment with Dr. Fast if you want an accurate, brilliant, approachable, and nice allergy and immunology expert on your side.

They have always been very professional and the check-in procedure is run smoothly. After my initial appointment at North Bay, I was not impressed. I had to ask to check my vials to confirm that they were mine. I was told that the staff checked them to confirm the correct info. They made a note to make sure I checked my vials in the future. As a retired USAF medic, I was trained to always confirm everything with the patient. This was my first red flag. I was given info regarding an app to download onto my phone for future check-ins. After repeated attempts to do so, the app remained defective. When I tried to check into the clinic on the next visit, I got a bit of attitude because I didn't use the app. After several attempts, I called the clinic for assistance. The receptionist seemed very cavalier in her attitude and didn't seem to understand my frustration. I was hung up on while I again attempted to install the phone app. She eventually called back. By this time I was beyond frustrated and cancelled all future appointments to this ineffective clinic. I will resume my treatments at the clinic in Fairfield. I have confidence in being taken seriously and feel very at ease with their efficient system.

The one time I was able to make an appointment that worked for my schedule I accidentally made it for a work day and it had to be a solid month out. Ridiculous. And the subtext for the attitude I get is that I'm too hard a patient to schedule. Sorry for working 14 hour shifts on a rotating schedule? Neither the Napa nor Sonoma office can manage to fit me in. Experiences like this seriously turn me off of a business. And naturally they're too high class to work the weekends at or, or make an exception. My insurance deductible is rather high and I finally met it the other week so I wanted to take advantage of not having to pay full price for a direly needed service. So I'll be driving from Vallejo to Livermore because this other place has oodles of appointments that I can actually make even with an extra hour of driving one way (two round trip) and a bridge toll. I've been here before years ago for allergy testing. Didn't have a single issue, was a great experience. But that was when I worked a "normal" schedule as a college student working part time. Meh.

Make sure if you go there to let them know that the patient has someone that cares and loves them. I was visiting he cannot speak well after he was brought there and a chaplain was there I asked why they had no answer.The nurses did not seem to really no his condition and the Dr on call was unsympathetic .Im thinking of transferring him.
