I went in due to one of my bridges needs to be replaced and I went in at the beginning of this month. I was told that they would send it in for approval and that would take two to three weeks. Expecting to be contacted when the approval made it in and yesterday I got a text to contact the office. I called prior to 5PM but they had already put it on their answering machine. I called this morning and they informed me that I had a balance on my account for about $74 and they had not sent in the request due to the balance. The balance is due to the doctor not being in network and they had not informed me. Incompetence is the hardest issue for me to deal with.

I have continued to go to him because he is the bomb and Pearl is a damn fine dental hygienist. Sometimes the level of treatment can really depend on what kind of insurance you have, but with him I could always trust I was receiving the best and not being judged for the financial situation my family was in.
