From not knowing how to book an appointment! to not knowing are understanding simple healthcare terminologies! after being scene by the doctor the medication he prescribe was scribbled on a tiny peace of paper! I have generally been happy with each one but I will tell you that I believe Dr. Pitts is the best dermatologist that I have seen. There are a couple of things that I think sets Dr. Pitts apart. Every time that I come in, he does an examination for new skin cancers. He is very thorough. His office staff is courteous and professional. The thing that I like the most is that he explains every step of the way, talking me through the entire procedure. If I have to have something cut out, he deadens the spot and continually asks me through the procedure if I am comfortable. I have been at his office three different times. I never have to wait very long in the waiting room and he is usually with me in the exam room within the first two - three minutes that I arrive. The office building is large, clean and professional. The parking is incredibly easy. I was there today for a follow up on a surgery he performed on my neck. While there, my wife asked about a spot on my back. He reassured us that it was absolutely nothing and offered to go ahead and take it off while I was there in the office. I would sum up my experience with Dr. Pitts as saying he is professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
