Receiving care really helped Brooklyn with her digestion as an infant. As she gets older and is almost a year now, the visual impact to her demeanor is immediate. It's really amazing! When she gets adjusted, it's as if her body is able to calm down. She can go from squirming everywhere to completely calm after an adjustment! Her appointments have also greatly helped with her sleep. After being adjusted by Dr. Amanda, I feel immediate relief and am very relaxed. She's great with children and pregnant women as well. They both just seem to know everything that's going on in the body, and that extensive knowledge separates them from others. This is not a plush "spa" experience, but it is clean and comfortable. The rooms are not insulated, so there may be some background noise, but unlike some places, they are actual rooms with doors and not curtains. The massage itself is Tui Na style accupressure. If you like deep-tissue, this is for you. But if you prefer a lighter, Swedish style massage, they can do that as well. Just tell them what you like for pressure. I was hesitant at first to add another expensive treatment to my plan, but already my posture and walking is more even- I'm no longer dragging one side of my body. Even if you don't have a chronic or infectious disease, if you have ever had head trauma you may want to look up an Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractor for help with issues ranging from mental health to problems with digestion, energy, circulation etc. even incurable diseases like MS, Parkinson's, and especially nebulous diseases like Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue syndrome have shown improvement through this methodology. Do the research or just reach out to John for some information. There are a few chiropractors that take insurance for this work and John does not. This is difficult, so I would encourage you to do your research. That being said, I have been extremely impressed with his level of dedication to his patients and work to continually improve his knowledge.
