    Scooter Coffee Raymore

A challenge to access as there is no direct access from Hwy 58. Access from the side street is easy and the access to the drive through is good once you turn onto one of the adjacent streets. Getting back on 58 is easy. The drive thru is efficient and served by friendly baristas. Like most Scooters this is a drive thru coffee shop. The frosted sugar cookie is a must try. Today I had a hot cup of dark roast coffee. Consistent across the brand. I appreciate Scooters on Hwy 58 (Foxwood Drive), I know I can get a good cup of coffee in Cass County.

Scooter's is new to the area. It's small drive thru is conveniently located on 58 Hwy/Foxridge, in Raymore. I stopped by on my way to work to give them a try. I'm bit a coffee drinker, so I wasn't sure what to order. I asked the young lady, who was taking orders, for recommendations. She was kind to help me out. I ordered a small French Vanilla Latte and I added the spicy sausage burrito; it totaled $8.04. Both were pretty good, except the burritos come prepackaged and they throw it in a microwave to heat up. The spicy sausage is very spicy. I have seen the drive thru pretty full while passing by. What I've noticed today is that the entrance and exit to Scooter's is narrow. Only one car can enter/exit at a time. The service was quick and the team members were friendly. I would return.

Now I want to start off by saying, before today if you offered me any coffee beverage that wasn't Starbucks my head would spin like the exorcist. I was in an addictive relationship with Carmel Frappuccinos. But I was in need of a 3pm pick me up and Scooters was close, with no line. I'm very impressed with the Candy Bar Blender and nice service I received. From the order taker to the young lady at the drive through window. I'll definitely be back.

The women working the cashier was very kind and helpful. Absolutely fantastic quality of food and coffee! Our whole group was impressed with everything that we ordered. The stand out was the bacon Gouda sandwich on some phenomenal ciabatta bread. The bagel was outstanding. The pastry case was drool worthy and we'll have to come back to eat through it. Price wise its a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're receiving. Lots of free street parking available. Note for the cold brew lovers - they don't serve cold brew so be ready with your back up order.

It's small but not too small with the outdoor and upstairs seating. I was quickly greeted by the very friendly staff after walking in. I asked "what's the best thing on the menu if I was never to be here again (I'm a driver and likely won't)" and she said the bacon Gouda and boy oh boy was it good! The bacon was very high quality and so was the bread. The cheese was super melted and made the almost garlic buttery mayo taste even better. I would highly recommend it and would recommend this place!!

We got there around 9am and were seated right away with no wait, but by the time we were leaving there was definitely a line forming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. I especially appreciated that they offer gluten-free options, which can be hard to find at breakfast places. The drinks were definitely a highlight--strong (in a good way) and well-made, which is always a plus! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the service was friendly throughout our visit. Overall, definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and looking for a solid breakfast spot.

I love the vibe of the place with the crystal chandeliers and the writing on the walls. Emily was a fantastic server. She waited patiently while we looked over the vast menu. I ended up choosing the corned beef n' hash and it was honestly the best breakfast I've eaten in a long time and the best corned beef ever. The drizzle of mustard on top added the perfect tang to the tender strips of corned beef. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. The hash had a great consistency with a fine chop on the veggies.

The cilantro was super fresh, the pork was flavorful, and the potatoes tied it all together perfectly. Portion size was just right and the price felt fair for what you get. On this last visit I got the West Coast Omelet (bacon, onions, tomatoes, and cheese topped with a couple of avocado slices). It comes with a side of rosemary potatoes and an English muffin. I swapped the muffin for a biscuit. I had forgotten their biscuits are more similar to a cross between cornbread and cake. I'd prefer just a regular biscuit even though their style of biscuit is interesting. The omelet and biscuit was large. The rosemary potatoes are delicious and I'd have loved to have a bit more of them. I really enjoyed the omelet as well! I had to take about half of the omelet and biscuit to go. The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think there dishes tend to be a bit more sweet and while I love sweet, if I'm eating savory, I'm picky about the sweetness. I think that is a personal preference and I'm sure some people love it. My server was Kat (Katerina) and she was great. Very patient and helpful. She happened to be my server both times I've been there! The restaurant is very clean with a comfortable, welcoming environment. It's always nice to see their messages of kindness. We could use a lot more of that these days! Cruelty seems to be in fashion now. It's refreshing to go somewhere promoting kindness! I'd go back just for that bit the service is outstanding and the food is really good!

The yolk should run and these didn't. Not the end of the world, but when you cooks eggs all day it would have been nice to have them not overcooked. It tasted ok. The corned beef was good and I would get that again, but not on a benny. The hollandaise was ok but a bit bland. I was expecting some lemon flavor and that tangy kick but it was super mild. It was fine just not to my liking. My wife got a breakfast quesadilla and it was stuffed full and was better than mine. I had a bite and it was pretty flavorful but we did have to pay extra for sour cream which was weird, but whatevs. The place has a lot of signs inside. Not sure what i make of it but there were enough of them that we both noticed. Our server was good but a bit quirky. For instance, she sat us and as we were sitting down she asked if we knew what we wanted. Not rude or anything like that we just thought, hmmm that was interesting. We told no we needed to look at the menu and it was all fine. I just think she had a quirky personality, nothing off putting. We kind of laughed about it and went on. More of a story than anything else that we talk about and get a kick out of. Overall the place was ok. We would come back if we were close around that area and hungry but we probably wouldn't drive across town to eat there.
