There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

Don't…read morebe fooled by the simple location and the charming, home-drawn logo: the pizzas are unique, with the most flavorful tomato sauce and mozzarella, delightful pepperoni and an assortment of artisan quality toppings. Mark's turns out some of the most flavorful pizzas in Pickering and East Scarborough, and I've tried a lot of pizza! Each week, they have a different feature pizza, and the full size pizzas are similar to a New York style, with the thin, crisp bottom crust surrounded by a heftier, lightly charred edge crust. Full pizzas are ordered in advance on line, but they have Italian sandwiches and pizza slices to go (subject to availability). The slices have a thicker crust than the full pizzas, and look delicious. There is limited seating for eating in, and Mark's mainly does a take-out business. I went on line earlier today, and ordered a 6:00 pick-up. The online order system is efficient and user-friendly. We had a pepperoni pizza as well as this week's special, a meatball and pesto pizza. Both were excellent, and the tomato sauce really stood out. It was garlicy, herbaceous and delightfully savory; quite different from the bland, sweet tomato sauce served up by most of the large chains. The crust was flavorful, and lightly charred to perfection, giving it a slightly smoky flavor. As a crust snob, I was very pleased! The meatball and pesto pizza was really good, with flavorful, juicy mini-meatballs and delightfully garlic-forward pesto. The pesto, made from pumpkin seeds rather than the traditional pine nuts, was so good with bold garlic and basil flavours. The pepperoni pizza was superb, with the cup-and-char, New York style pepperoni. My whole family was delighted!! In short, the pizzas are remarkably flavourful, and their preparation shows time, care, and attention to quality ingredients, as well as a superior crust. It was worth the drive from Pickering, and with the efficiency of Hwy. 2, took only about 15 minutes. Parking is a bit tight, but there is frequent turnover of parking spots. Thanks to Chloe H. at the counter for friendly service with helpful recommendations for me to consider for future orders. And there will certainly be future orders from me!

We got there a little after 11 and already the place was jamming. All we wanted were a couple of cannolis and sfogliatellas. When we got them home, the product did not disappoint. We felt like we had been immediately transported back to Napoli where we enjoyed these delicacies fresh out of the bakery. Their pizza line is also crazy. You need to be sure to show up as early as possible, or they run out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Aside from the hustle and bustle, it has a great atmosphere, but I would not recommend eating there unless you feel comfortable with a mass of people all around you.

Nutella croissant, pistachio cream filled. Staff super friendly took my order gave recommendations. Croissant was crispy versus buttery had a decent amount of Nutella in there. Not sure if it's more crispy vs buttery or just end of day. The pistachio filled donut was heavy filled with whip cream delicious and not lactose friendly. Tiramisu good on the sweeter side not too heavy on coffee flavor whip cream and cake bottom. Not super traditional but it's okay. 3 separate counters to order different food items this place can get quite full. Little bit hard to find the price on the items it's not listed with the food itself. In the middle of the place there are tables and chairs to sit and eat at which is nice. Not just a take out spot. Great especially in the winter. Havent had a chance to try the prepared foods or pizza that is for the next visit!

The Pizza Shack has some great combo deals that would be perfect for feeding 4. We went with the extra-large 3 topping pizza, 20 wings, and 4 pops for $35.99. There are some premium toppings that are double the price of the other toppings like the sundried tomatoes and spinach. These are indicated on the website. You can order online from UberEats but we opted to call and placed an order with no issues. Our order was ready at the time that we requested. There is signage indicating that only 2 customers are allowed in the store at a time. The front counter is blocked off by a table. They have a really neat system to slide over payment and food to customers to maintain social distancing. Our pizza featured pepperoni, mushrooms, and sundried tomatoes. One comment I got was that the pizza was very topping dense which was a plus. I thought overall it was fine, maybe a bit less saucy and cheesy than I like. We were able to get 10 wings of one flavour and 10 of the other. The first was a basic BBQ which was my preferred flavour. We had the honey garlic which was quite sweet. Lastly, we also had a poutine. It was slathered which gravy but could have used some more curds. The fries were more of the bubbly exterior vs the cut potato style.

Non-breaded wings and crispy with perfect amount of lemon & pepper flavour. Will definitely order from here again on our next pizza meal and look forward to trying the other items on the menu. Great job with social distancing by the owner, using chairs as barriers in front of the counter, plus a "ramp" to tap the machine to pay as well collect your order, love it!
