I was kind of hungry since coming off the sunset night cruise that only had a bar and popcorn! I didn't feel like hanging in a restaurant at 9pm so I walked around town taking pictures. Driving out, I passed this familiar market! It's 11pm that I'm here and I think it stays open til midnight. I was impressed with the fresh produce and there are to go salads and sandwiches. I ended up with a salad kit; blueberries a yogurt and a huge can of Coke. They didn't have normal sized cans. It was perfect for me as I wasn't hungry enough to dine out but knew I needed something. DGX also has household items if you need or forget something. The store likely caters to those that live in the downtown area and the college students. But it is great as a tourist too. The store was very clean and the service was super friendly. I will be returning the next time I am in town.

I'd suggest any potential buyers double check for any fraying or discoloration. Hopefully the store will consider more hat options, offering beanies, and offering more color variety (especially darker colors) for their shirts and hoodies. There were a few design styles I liked but they were only offered in grey or white. I also noticed some merch in-store isn't currently offered on their site and vice versa. If you're a Dawson's Creek fan: there is some merch (also towards the back, shares a table with some OTH merch and where the shot glasses are) but not as much as OTH. I and a friend, both 60 year old, white, blonde women stopped at Circle K to get cigarettes and were refused by the black manager Erica. I had ID and didn't mind showing it, however, unbeknownst to me, my license had expired... I had other ID and am obviously not under 30, but that wasn't good enough. So my friend tried to buy them and again she refused stating it was a 3rd party sale...??? Are you kidding me? I really thought she was kidding, but she wasn't. We tried to present our argument regarding age, but she just smirked and went about her business. I can't get over the pettiness and rudeness. So instead we went to Doodles and had no problems. Highly recommend Doodles for all your purchases! Support local businesses. I learned my lesson. The NC law Under N.C. Gen. Stat. 14-313, selling tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices, to individuals under 21 is prohibited. Retailers are required to verify the age of purchasers through government-issued identification, checking IDs for anyone appearing under 30 to ensure compliance.
