I WAS WRONG. I finally reached a point in my pregnancy where my legs would shake in pain just from standing too long. My baby was still breech at 34 weeks, which did not happen in my first pregnancy, and at my 36 week ultrasound they confirmed he was finally head down - only thing to change was seeing Dr Christian. I finally started being able to go on walks again & keeping up (sort of! Lol) with my toddler. I can't even explain how much better I feel. I cannot wait to keep going after having the baby to see how good I can feel. Dr Christian is so incredibly knowledgeable and also so kind and welcoming. The first red flag was being brought into a separate room as a new patient, handed laminated pseudo-science data sheets, and given a sales pitch about how chiropractic care can apparently solve every ailment in the known universe. I kindly explained that I was just there for a standard back adjustment due to soreness from spending nearly 20 hours on a plane. The sales guy immediately launched into a speech about "treating the root cause, not the symptom." "But in my case, I already know the root cause, don't I?" A quick and dismissive: "Right, but we still need to run you through a series of tests to confirm." Then he referred to a "spine gun" they would use on my back. I asked what kind of technology this mythical device used because I did not want any x-rays. His response: "Oh, we will do an x-ray today." "No, I'm not injured and I won't be getting an x-ray." "Then you can't be treated here." That ended the visit for me, and honestly, hearing multiple patients screaming in pain and loudly cursing during their adjustments while I was sitting in the office did not exactly inspire confidence either. I've been to many chiropractors over the years, but this is the first time I've ever felt like I was at a car dealership instead of a medical office.

Outstanding PT practice…read more Unfortunately I've had many orthopedic procedures done as a result of my occupation and sports. I've been to numerous PTs, to the point that I actually became quite skeptical about the efficacy of PT as a practice. Having recently had bilateral rotator cuff surgery, and after having walked out of another local PT appointment due to their lack of understanding of the issues, I decided on Peak. Dan Fishman, Bill, and Roland keep meticulous records; proof of an actual protocol was evident. I'd never experienced this before with any PT. Since working with them in early January, I have rehabilitated both shoulders to a point that the are functional. It's been grueling and time consuming, but the results are the proof. I saw several chiropractors, thinking someone could fix the pain. Sometimes it would work for a few days, but then it would come back. Until I visited Dr. Diego Marmanillo in December 2024. The first treatment was like the others. The pain went away for a few days and then came back. I went back again and asked Dr. Diego, "Is there anything else you can do to take away the pain?" He said yes, there is a treatment that athletes use, but some insurance companies don't cover it. I said no problem. If the pain goes away, it's worth it. He took me to the SOFTWAVE TRT room. It's a machine like an ultrasound machine. He turned it on and ran it all over my waist. The machine has a plastic ball that pricks like a needle, but it only pricks in the areas where there is pain. When it passes over an area where there is no pain, you don't feel anything. I LIKED THAT. Because I felt that something was working. It took about 5 minutes. It passed over the areas where I had pain. I AM A FAITHFUL WITNESS. The pain went away instantly. It was very nice to know that the pain was gone. The pain did not return for two weeks. I went back for the same treatment and the pain went away again. This SOFTWAVE TRT is wonderful and really works. Now I understand why athletes get injured and return to play in a few days.
