I've now had TWO dental appointments cancelled by Dr. Scott's office within the same year, and both…read moretimes the handling was unacceptable. The first cancellation happened 10 months ago. I was told they'd "get me in on the next cancellation," but after months of me repeatedly calling to follow up, nothing ever opened up. Eventually I gave up and scheduled another appointment -- 7 months out. Now, just 3 weeks before that appointment, I called to confirm it myself (thankfully), only to be told it had been cancelled AGAIN because the doctor would be out all week. No phone call. No notification. No effort to proactively contact patients. The solution offered? "We can put you on the cancellation list." That same cancellation list already failed once and effectively delayed my cleaning and x-rays by nearly a year. What's most frustrating is the complete lack of urgency or accountability. This office is only open 4 days a week, yet there seems to be no plan to accommodate the backlog of patients affected by repeated cancellations. No extended hours, no added availability, no meaningful attempt to make things right. When I asked for a recommendation for another dentist, the only response I got was "sorry." So here's my recommendation instead: if you're looking for a reliable dentist in Greensboro, avoid Dr. Scott's office unless you enjoy waiting close to a year for appointments that may never happen.

He said there was nothing wrong with itand I had another tooth that was worse so he crowned that one. Fast forward 2 years he had informed me I had a large cavity beneath previous mentioned crown and it would need to be pulled. He went back and looked at previous xray and apologized said he missed seeing it. Tooth could have been saved except for his inattention to detail, as itshowed on 3 previous xrays. So he pulled the tooth, had difficulties broke it into pieces DID NOT XRAY afterwards - 2 weeks went by I was still in pain went back and told them there was pieces of tooth left behind not to mention stitches dangling down whichthey removed. I could feel it with my tongue his assistant checked and said no theres nothing there I said but I can feel it again she said I assure you theres nothing there. Sent me on my way NO XRAYs. Later that same day frustrated I pulled out 3 large pieces of tooth myself 1/8" in size. Fast forward 2 months had my 1st appointment with a NEW Dentist, she immediately referred me to an Oral Surgeon as the wound from previous tooth was not healed and had pus seeping out. Luckily was able to get into see surgeon nextday, his xray revealed large root left in my mouth which was cause of infection. 2 days later had surgery to remove root left in from poor dental work by inept Dentist with no attention to detail. This infection could have been fatal if not caught. The surgery cost me $1500. AVOID THIS POOR EXCUSE of a DENTIST DR EDWARD SCOTT.

To be honest, I really don't trust these people, and I think the owner really goes after older patients who may not be aware of her tactics, or how she instructs her employees to give some patients inaccurate info. and I'm certain this has happened to me! The last time I was there for an appt, they left me sitting in the chair for 40 minutes, and wouldn't tell me what was going on, until I put pressure on the asst to find out, and the dentist finally appeared to let me know the original procedure wouldn't be covered by my insurance after all, and I would have to pay over $900 out of pocket!! At that moment I knew I was in the wrong dental office, because they lied right to my face!! I won't go into any more detail but I got up, walked out and never went back! I'm very happy now that I have found a new office, with much better care, and honesty! Please don't let these crooks try to rip you off!!

I've been taking my daughter to Triad Kids Dental in Greensboro on Randleman Road for about 4 years…read morenow, and they consistently provide excellent service every visit. The dentists and hygienists are fantastic with kids--patient, kind, and really good at making them feel comfortable. The office is always clean, and I like that they play movies above the chairs to help distract the kids during cleanings. The waiting area is also great, with a cute play space for kids and a TV to keep them entertained. We rarely wait long before being called back, which I really appreciate. They always give the option of fluoride instead of just doing it automatically, and at the end of the visit the kids get a toothbrush and floss, which is a nice touch. What stands out most is how they actually talk to the kids, ask them questions, and make the whole experience easy and calm. We've always had great experiences here and definitely recommend them.

During check in, you're able to schedule the 6 month follow up. In the back, his height and weight was checked before receiving X-rays by a male staff member. Brooke was the dental hygienist who cleaned my son's teeth. She was very friendly. Safety and cleaning measures were observed throughout my visit. There was a short wait for the dentist to come over after the cleaning was done. The dentist was friendly. No complaints regarding the service received. I did notice they didn't have items for the kids anymore. In the past, they had balloons and small toys for the kids to get.

Humana Health Insurance does not seem to be superior to other large-scale insurers that benefit…read morefrom Medicare and Medicaid (federal and state). Their Humana Health Benefits Plus Plan, which is designed for low-income participants, seems to be a misleading and restrictive program. While it covers most medical expenses and prescriptions for individuals who do not have major illnesses such as cancer, etc., the additional help spending card advertised to pay rent and utilities is a joke that limits clients to going to Walmart. When I tried to pay rent with the card, my HUD housing manager said the Debit Visa was unacceptable. I contacted Humana, and they advised me to obtain bank information from the property manager to pay rent through their customer service agents. However, which property management company is going to give tenants their bank information? Every attempt to use the spending card is troublesome, and paying anything through Walmart is degrading. For instance, you are restricted to purchasing groceries not of your choice (I prefer stores that sell more organic products). The Debit Visa is also inadequate since it limits what can be purchased with it. Most of the items permitted on the card are not useful to me personally. I don't need diapers yet! Therefore, what good is it?
