It represented everything that felt solid and dependable. Friends and classmates went to work there. It felt like being a State Farm customer meant something. And for decades, it did. As I built my life, State Farm was there at every stage, renters insurance for my first apartment, coverage for my first home and my second home, multiple cars, our family trailer, and eventually my kids' vehicles too. I didn't shop around. I didn't compare rates. I stayed, because I trusted you. But that trust has been broken.
